VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE. the leather feels very cheap, i almost dont believe it is real leather, feels slightly plasticky, and the grain is extremely uniform. the pitch of the chair is slightly more upright then a real eames chair. the powder coat on the metal base plates flakes off a little bit when you tighten the screws, but not a big deal, you cant see any of this once the chair is assembled. if you want a better version of this chair, I'd suggest shopping for it in person.

This was a great buy. It’s breathtaking

It took me about an hour to assemble, and unlike some reviews that reported the holes did not line up, I had no trouble with assembly. I was quite surprised at the quality of manufacture, how clean the parts were and the fact this chair is made with genuine leather... And soft leather, not hard bonded leather. I was worried about the scale or size as some reviewers have commented. However my studio apartment needs a smaller scale so I'm quite happy with it. I am 6 foot tall and my only suggestion would be to have the chair sit 2 or 3 inches higher. Otherwise, it fits great in my traditional mid century and contemporary living space.

Excellent product. It is obviously a replica, but very nicely done. The main differences I noticed in comparison with the original are the lack of rocking motion - the original has some sort of suspension system that allows for comfortable rocking of the back cushion, which in the replica is firmly attached to the bottom cushion at a fixed angle; and the quality of the leather. The leather on this one is nice-looking and acceptable, but the original is way softer, feels more luxurious, and it has more folds. It deserves 5 stars for costing 1/8 of the price of an original.I didn't have much difficulty putting it together, which was a concern reading other reviews. The "secret" to get the screw holes to align is not to tighten any single screw all the way until all screws are in place. This way there's a little wiggle room that will help with the alignment. The chair I received had all holes perfectly aligned. I put it together on my own.

The chair was made without attention to detail. The holes for the screws don't line up this the chair is not stable, the arms of the chair don't line up with the screws (not even close) and you can't do anything to cure it. The great price means nothing if it is non functional. Beware and save yourself the frustration and waste of time.

It took six days to get the packages from New York to California. Packaging was excellent.The leather is nice but not very soft to touch, the workmanship is as fine and everything fits fine, the chair sits very very low and the headrest is not high enough to support ones head .Overall a nice purchase, good value for the price
