Absolutely love my new laptop. It’s fast, light, slim and sleek and most importantly, has the touch screen feature. Size wise it’s not too big and fits easily into a laptop bag. Upon shopping around for this make and model, I found that Amazon had the lowest price.

I was due for a new computer, replacing a refurbished one I bought in 2013.This laptop is a really impressive piece of machinery - it's sleek and light. It is in Windows "S" mode - but it is not any type of difficult to convert. I was literally prompted at some point to exit S mode and I was off to the races. As far as web browsing, downloading and running apps, etc. (i.e. everyday use things) it's a real pleasure to use. I hook this up to a larger, stand alone monitor, a set of speakers, and bluetooth keyboard and mouse when I get home, with a port left to charge my phone.The software is real and valid - to the point where I found myself inundated with advertisements and prompts from both Microsoft and HP. Still, it only took a couple hours to set it up to my preferences and bring my files back over from a USB.The one thing I find troublesome is actually the track pad, which I supplement with the touchscreen. 5 stars for ~$300 - not bad![edit June 2020] popped a wireless mouse on the end of a fan underneath for the “home school office set up” Really not a fan of the track pad and touchscreen interface, but was cute when I was trying to get people to show me things in person.

the fan can be loud at moments but it doesn't last long, the touch screen is great and it runs pretty great. bought it for online school and it's been going great.

Good value. Does not have a disk drive. Spent an hour and half on the phone with HP tech to get printer driver installed and set up. Fairly easy to get around Microsoft C in order to use Chrome and other apps.

Its a great laptop. It occasionally makes this loud fan noise, which I question and can be annoying when studying/ doing assignments. Otherwise, its great and so is the touchscreen. Super light as well. Well worth the quick buy.

the asterick will not work and when I try to use the symbols above the numbers they will not work, I now I am supposed to hold down the shift button but it still does not work

This Laptop was the best buy ever for the money! It's so easy to use and just the right size, it's compact and durable. I strongly recommend this product for anyone who is tech savvy or not. I Love It!

We got this on March 19th and the touch screen is already broken. Now my son is stuck with a broken laptop and no way to do his distance learning during the shelter in place.

This laptop is great for the price. I love how it's touch screen & also voice activated. So far, no issues. Glad I purchased it. I was hesitant to buy a laptop online as I usually buy in store, but it arrived safely. I'm not too fond of it being in S mode, but I could always change that down the line. It starts up very fast, which I like.

used for school, and with light, small form it is easy to use carry and use anywhere. great battery life.

I like the touchscreen future and the size but I really don't like the 🔋 battery because it is one of the devices special feature but it is very little lasting in 30min it lost 15% of the battery.
