These mirrors were extremely easy to install on the cowl hinges, are well made and look and work great. People who aren’t used to having the right side mirror look different from the left side mirror may be taken aback, but it is designed to be mounted so that the bracket is inclined forward and the mirror is viewed through the right side of the windshield, not the door. These mirrors are designed so you can have the doors off and still have the visibility you need. Also, the doors don’t hit the mirrors when you open them.

Fits just like OEM, appear to be good quality. fit and work great.

Well made but. I instructions. Finally figured out to tighten the screws in the non mirror side to keep them from moving at highway speed.

We we have been looking for mirrors that not only fit the predrilled holes needed for our 1974 cj5, but also budget. These mirrors fit both criteria well and we're extremely happy with the end product! Mounting was easy, and the pre-drilled holes fit our frame perfectly. Would recommend this product to our other Jeep enthusiasts! The mirrors come in different finishes which would meet anyone's need for color match! Happy with product!

Bolted right on to the 78 CJ-5. Just read up on the proper placement before you send them back. People just don’t understand how they were mounted back in the day. You look at the passenger mirror through the windshield.

These mirrors are very nice. All of the CJ style mirrors shake a bit, even the stock OEM ones.I do want to comment about all the reviews thar say they have to re-drilll the holes, or the arms are not even the same, and leave poor ratings. If you do not know how CJ mirrors were designed or HOW to use them... you will be confused. Look at my photos to see hiw they are designed to be used. You must look through the windshield to use the passenger-side mirror. It will be higher and stick straight (ish) forward to do so. IF you mount and adjust them the way American Motors designed them... they fit and work perfect. These are an old school design and not something you would ever see today... except on a classic Jeep. Or maybe a school-bus!

I like the mirrors but was given the wrong arm for the passenger side. After over an hour and be transferred 3 times to whatever department I didn't get anywhere with a replacement. Don't recommend just because of the customer service.
