Easy to use and great results!
I’m really impressed with this automatic curler from Conair. It’s super easy to use, even if you’re not experienced with styling tools. The cordless feature makes it very convenient, and the battery lasts long enough for a full styling session. It heats up quickly and creates smooth, long-lasting curls without damaging my hair. I also like that it doesn’t tangle or pull, which is something I’ve had issues with in other curlers. Overall, this is a great product for anyone who wants quick, effortless curls at home. Definitely worth it!

Easy to use and no burnt hands!
First you should know that I’m functionally illiterate with doing hair. I like wearing curls but haven’t found a curling iron easy enough to use, and rollers took too long. I’m also impatient. I have pretty thick hair, currently clavicle length, with streaks of silver. I’ve added pics from my first real use and I’m pleased how it turned out. Took less than half an hour. I felt like I got the hang of it as I went. I did try to section it and worked up. My lower chunks of hair were damp from the shower and that didn’t help; I also got impatient and did some sections too thick, so not every section curled well but that’s on me. It didn’t tangle even once and I was really awkward with positioning and would've deserved it. So overall I’m quite pleased. Faster than hot rollers, easier than my fancy curling iron, curlier curls the a curling brush. Honestly the best part is zero risk of burning my clumsy hands, so I’m motivated use it more and get good at it. My only mark down is the need for such small sections but not worth taking off a star. I’m pleased.

TANGLE SAFETY FEATURE DOES NOT WORK
I was so excited for this hair curler, but it was a HUGE MISTAKE. It has eaten my hair TWICE. The safety feature DOES NOT WORK. I followed all of the instructions carefully, I was only using a small section of hair and it was carefully combed through before I started using the curler. But still some internal mechanism snagged my hair and when my hair became stuck on it, it just kept spinning! Further twisting and tangling the knot until it began to pull on my hair and I finally realized what was happening. It kept spinning until I let go of the button! It did not automatically shut off! I then had to forcibly pull my hair out. Because part of my hair was so wrapped around the internal mechanism there was no way to get it out other than ripping it out of my head and then pulling it out of the curler. It took a HUGE chunk of hair!! And this happened TWICE!! The first time it happened I thought it must have been a fluke, but now I realize this is a mechanical default with the product. The internal mechanism gets hooked on the hair while it spins and the tangle safety feature does NOT work!!! Please do not buy this you will lose your hair. Every review that tells you otherwise is a lie put there by the seller. PLEASE do not buy this!! I am telling you after what happened to me and the way this product is designed, it WILL eat your hair. Don't do it!!

If you are “hair stupid”, this is SO EASY, and gives great curls
**This is long, but detailed. If you want to know, yes, I give this 5 stars and would purchase it again. If you want the skinny, keep reading.** ***Update #4: (4/1/2023)*** This stopped charging and working in October 2022, less than 3 years after purchasing. I used it on average once every 10 days, maybe slightly less since 2020 there wasn’t much hair curling going on. That’s about 110 uses. I’m going to repurchase it, but I’m taking off 1 star for the short lifespan of this. I’ve attached a before photo (face blacked out) of my hair when it has been quickly blow dried with a “wet brush” and nothing else. The after photos are of my hair after using this device. My hair was on day 2 of not being washed and had zero product in it before or after I took these photos (I wash every 7-10 days). **I’m also LEFT HANDED. This is important to note because basically every hair tool I’ve ever used is made for right handed people, and it makes it harder to do your hair with your dominant hand.** -I get a Brazilian blowout at my salon every 4 months, but my hair is about 3 inches past my shoulder, and is naturally very thick, incredibly coarse and wavy. It holds curl very well (I can get a blowout at the salon with a curling iron or wand and it will hold that curl (and look good) for 3-5 days depending on the weather and strength of hairspray used by the salon. -I am what I call “hair stupid”. I’ve tried the “BeachWaver” (burned my hair off), the DryBar curling iron and curling wand (burned my fingers and damaged my hair), and traditional curling irons and wands (burned myself and always had creases in my hair from curling irons). I also never knew which way to curl the hair. 🤷🏼♀️ -I opened this out of the box and charged it for an hour (it recommends 4.5 hrs, but I wanted to try my new toy). You will need your own “brick” for this, but I have a dozen or so extra sitting around so this wasn’t a problem for me. If you don’t have extras, you may want to order one the same time you purchase this. -The device won’t work while charging. I don’t mind this, because it’s cordless and would be easy to travel with. -It is heavier than most curling irons I’ve used in the last two years, but it wasn’t cumbersome. -I turned it on using the on/off button. You use this same button to move between settings, heat/time, which way it curls (right, left, mix). -I chose the middle heat setting, and curled the left side of my head with the R setting, and the right side of my head with the L setting. -There is a lot of beeping. I honestly didn’t mind it, but I can think of handful of friends this would drive them crazy. And if you live with a significant other and share a bathroom, they might lose their mind. It beeps a significant amount. -I put the top half of my hair in a knot on my head and brushed my hair, and then took about 1/2” sections of hair, and while holding the device up right, put my hair about an inch and a half from my scalp at the top where you can see the curling iron portion. -I hit start (and held it down), and it magically took my hair and spun it inside. Once it completed this, it started the beeping. -I held down the start button this entire time, and once the beeps stopped, I let go and pulled the device toward the ground and it released my curled hair (second photo is of the unbrushed curls). -I continued this on the lower section of my hair (making sure to switch the setting from L to R when I switched the side of my head I was curling). Once I was finished I did the middle section of hair, and finally the top of my head. -This took about 15 minutes, and I’d say 95% of the curls look the same, which is what I wanted. -My hair never got tangled using this device (I expected it to, because I’m “hair stupid“) and I’d say that my hair usually knots and tangles pretty easily (it’s so coarse I usually have to cut those knots out). I didn’t have this issue with this device. -Once I finished, I combed the curls out with my fingers. I did not put any product in it (the last 3 photos). -The final photos were taken moments after I combed through with my fingers, and the top layer of my hair was still warm from the device. I fully expect my hair to “calm down” (this is a little too beauty pageant-y for my taste) when I wake up in the morning. -I used this on my hair and on a friends hair when this was FULLY CHARGED. It was turned on and being used FOR OVER ONE HOUR and the battery indicated it was low, but it did NOT run out or shut off. I have a lot of thick hair, and I just can’t imagine how one person would ever need this for over one hour of use. The battery is absolutely sufficient if it is fully charged. FINAL THOUGHTS: I like this device, and I like that I can’t burn myself (at least not easily, as I never even felt anything warm except my hair). It was really easy for me to use (took about 2 tries to get the hang of it). I also like that this will be easy to travel with and there is no cord so I can sit in front of any mirror or reflective surface and curl my hair, and not have to worry about where an electrical outlet is. If you don’t mind the beeping, I think this is a fantastic device, and I’ll be getting far less blowouts now that I “know” how to curl my own hair. I paid $80 for this on Black Friday and a blowout at my salon is $50 (that includes her tip). If I use this just twice, it will have already paid for itself. That’s definitely a WIN in my (pocket)book. **UPDATE #1 (12/11/19)** 3 days post curling with this device (and day 5 of dirty hair)- my hair has nice wave to it, that looks like I did something to it. I’ve literally only brushed it every morning and evening and haven’t used any product in it. It has been excessively humid and it rained yesterday in Houston. This hair is pictured in the 6th photo. **UPDATE #2 (1/8/20)** I’ve had this for over a month, and have used it every 7 days (when I wash my hair). My hair hasn’t been damaged by the heat, and I think it looks healthier than when I was using a flat iron on it once a week. This tool is still working perfectly, and I have had ZERO issues with it charging or staying charged. I LOVE this device. **Update #3 (2/13/20)** I’ve had this two months and used at least once, sometimes twice a week. I have NOT gotten my hair tangled or caught yet (I think smaller pieces are key), I LOVE the cordless feature. I save so much time multitasking by walking around the house and curling my hair. It is so easy to use, and it still charges with no issues to the battery life. I will update at a later date if/when I have an issue.

Love this little curler
It’s so easy to use! I don’t have any issues with my hair getting caught but I have chin length hair. It didn’t take long to feel like I knew what I was doing when using it. My only “issue” is I have to charge after a couple of uses but it isn’t enough of an issue not to love it! I love that you can’t burn yourself! And it’s easier to curl the back of my head because I don’t have to worry about burns. It did take a few tries to get the back cuz it’s too short to bring to front to “see” the hair but I got it done 😂 I’m not an expert by any means but I’m enjoying this curler! I do notice - for my hair at least - it works better at curling if I haven’t put it back before I try to curl.

Exceptional, curler, and great value for your money, bonus, easy to use.
Best curler I’ve ever purchased great value for your money, easy to use. Girls stay longer, much easier to use than a curling iron. You don’t have to worry about burning your hair. Highly recommend this purchase. I have one and I bought this one for my granddaughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it

Long Medium-Thick Hair
First, I’ll start with the pros: 1) This cordless curler is very easy to use! Three buttons for on/off, settings, and start 2) No barrel burn 3) Produces beautiful tight curls Now for the cons: 1) I charged for the minimum 4 hours as stated in the instructions, but unfortunately only got about 20 minutes of use out of it. My hair is long, about halfway down by back, and I was only able to complete the two sides of my hair, not the back section. 2) I did get my hair caught one time. There comes a point where it won’t curl more hair and believe me, pressing the start button again and again is NOT how you get it to go. 3) Although it says 400 degrees, it doesn’t seem like it. I would count to about 15-20 seconds per 1” sections and sometimes have to redo a curl or two. All in all, I do not recommend for long hair with medium thickness. The charge to usage time was super inconvenient. However, I would like to try this on my daughters hair to see if we see better results. Her hair is very short and more fine. I hope to update once we do!

Way exceeded expectations!!
This far exceeded my expectations! I have very fine, thick, long hair that generally, won't hold curl, even with a ton of product. Just to see how it really works, we tried it without any product before or during curling, & only used a light hairspray after. My curls held nicely (although did relax) over 2 days. For my hair, that is incredible!! It works VERY quickly, because normally I have to hold my hair in a curler under it's so hot it can't be touched & it has to be at least hair sprayed while held in the iron. It takes hours for the normL process to curl my hair! Obviously, I didn't take the time to do that much. This took less than an hour! Again, incredible! Finally, if I had any complaints, it would be that I wish it could handle longer hair. We had to start a bit down the length, so it would get all the way to end curled. However, my hair is nearly waist length in the back, so it's really not a big deal. It still managed to do most of the length. Finally, it wasn't fully charged (maybe 3/4) when we started & it used little of the battery while working. It would probably last through 3-4 sessions for my hair on 1 charge.
