Worked as expected however the fiberoptic is a bit stiff.

Great!
I just needed a few small pieces for a DIY project box and buying 164 ft of fiber seemed like a lot, but after seeing the results I have no regrets. The cable fits in a 2 mm hoie (I printed my box in both PLA and PETG) and the LED light coming from SMD LEDs is brought to the surface of the box with small pieces of this fiber optic cable. It looks great.

Good enough
I purchased the fiber optic strands only. Was very nice. It had a few different sizes scattered into it but mainly the .75mm size and it was melted together on the flat end so nothing can fall out from the middle.
