This is a great item for my Kitchen Aide stand mixer. It scrapes the edges of the bowl and gives it a smooth mix. Works very well for all types of batter! I definitely recommend.

The number one complaint I've always had with my kitchen aid was the fact alot was left on the bowl sides and the bottom was not always mixed. Like someone else mentioned my original paddle was also chipping. I thought I should replace it, for safety reasons. Why did I wait so long! Before washing it, I tried it on the mixer. It seemed a little tight but it did work. Later that evening I tried it to make a cake. It worked wonderfully! Scraped the sides and mixed up the eggs!So glad I've added it to my kitchen tools! Can't comment on the durability yet since I just got it.

Works as described

I gave this item 4 starts only because it doesn't fully reach the sides or far areas of the bowl while churning. You still need to stop the mixer to scrape the sides. I will say that it is sturdy and easy to clean. A nice attachment to go with kitchen mixer.

Exactly what I was looking for. This is a replacement beater head and fits my Kitchen Aid perfectly.

The item itself appears to be excellent quality like my other kitchenaid attachments. Unfortunately it did not fit my mixer however I did expect that as I noticed after ordering that it was for tilt head and not bowl lift. I was able to quickly return the to Amazon via UPS for a refund and will continue looking for a double flex edge attachment for a bowl lift mixer, which has proven to be difficult to find!
