I bought the CooSpo HR monitor as the price was just too good to pass it up. I’d looked at a competitor brand which was at least 3 times the price and I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much.I had concerns about the quality of the CooSpo HR monitor but I shouldn’t have worried. It’s well built and comfortable to wear. Ive completed several runs and HIIT sessions both in and outdoor and had no rubbing or chaffing, which I’d experienced with other manufacturers, in fact I did not notice wearing the device and chest strap whilst exercising.I use the HR monitor to pair with my Garmin 235 watch (the HR monitor on the watch is not accurate). The CooSpo paired with the watch easily and it gives a good audible beep and flashes when it pairs which is useful to let you know its done. The CooSpo turns on automatically on detecting a HR and once paired with a device the Coospoo connects automatically each time.The monitor works better when moisture is between the skin and the detection patches, as all do, so workout sweat doesn’t interfere with operation.When finished just make sure to detach the device from the strap and dry both, I haven’t had any issues with it, its just good practice.A note on batteries: the battery compartment is easily accessible and takes readily available batteries.

I purchased this Heart Rate Chest Monitor from CooSpo because the HR function on my FitBit Versa fluctuates wildly in use whilst exercising and I want a more accurate and constant reading.This chest strap was easy to setup and pair with my phone (There are a number of compatible apps but I use MapMyWalk as I already have it installed).It is easily adjusted with the sliding strap buckle, meaning it's comfortable to wear and with it weighing around 45g you soon forget you are wearing it.A single flash of the LED indicator on the front of the unit, along with a beep after fitting lets you know the monitor is fitted correctly, working as intended and you are good to go.I would recommend this device to anyone wanting a more accurate HR reading (a quick search shows that chest straps are said to be 99.2% accurate, as opposed to wrist monitors at around 92%).

Bought as a replacement for the original Garmin soft strap HRM that came with my Edge GPS cycle tracker. Really like the audible and visible feedback that it has picked up your heartbeat and paired with a device. ANT+ pairing works fine and the device appears to be accurate, at least it provides exactly the same readings as the official Garmin device did for the same level of exertion. Good budget choice.

HR Monitors to be honest are much a likeness....this one does have some nice touches though.I like the audible prompts for turning on and off, may be handy once the battery does go to let you know its not running - although I tend to replace mine once a year anywayStrap design is a plus - My previous strap did up by fastening to the HR monitor itself via the poppers, so everytime off and everytime on you had to undo it - this failed less than a year in. This design strap does up with a hook, so you only need to detach the monitor itself when cleaning throughly.Aside from that much a likeness in terms of function....it reads your Heartrate.Very keen price

Unfortunately for me a very unreliable unit. Would flash green just by adding water to strap and not worn. After removal it would intermittently switch on off. Now failed after just wearing 5 times. Readings when taken seemly about 15 beats higher than I would have suspected. I'm sure this is just a poor unit and most will be ok but on to something else or me. Seller contacted me and resolved my issue by sending a fully working unit to replace. Sometimes things do go wrong, it's the reaction to put it right that is the measure. Top unit and seller.

This is a good device nice and easy to use and accurate. Its comfortable to wear. I used this with the health app on my iphone and works very well, it would regularly show the updates and i compared this to a hear rate monitor i have and it was very accurate. Nice and light and says works with quite a few apps, for this price you cant go wrong. Also nice touch that it beeps and flashes when connected so you know its working correctly.

Does not pair with Garmin despite saying that it does. I wanted it to continue to monitor my heart rate when working on the ward where I can’t wear my watch on my wrist. I’ve just ordered the Garmin monitor as it really saves time discovering you’ve been mislead.

I have received this heart rate monitor few days ago. It is perfect for my needs. It is light weight and comfortable to wear. I had the traditional heart monitor two weeks ago which was heavy and uncomfortable to wear and they are not water proof so the straps were keep coming down. But this monitor is working far better than the typical heart monitors. I have attached it with my smart watch. Now I can keep record of my heart rate and how many calories I am burning during my walks and exercise. I had showed it to my GP when submitting my three days heart rate record. He was also impressed by the quality and accuracy of the product. Due to his fabric material it is so much comfortable to wear and I sometimes forget that there is a device attached to my body. I would definitely recommend the product. Good value for money and my life has become so easy with this. Thank you so much.
