Very solid metal cover plate, I used it to cover an hole that I have on my flashing so far I have it for several months and over rain storms it held OK / without issue. Will get again .

Plate cover arrived in perfect condition, just wish I would have noticed that the screws for attaching were all silver vs white like my light switch plate.

It is metal and not plastic but if I looked at the description I would’ve known. It is a little heavy since it is metal but it works just fine
