I had gotten these because we broke our last porcelain bowl. We also found out that the other bowls we had were not for use in the microwave. These fit our use perfectly. They don't heat up as much in the microwave. In the areas of the bowl where there is no food, you can pick them up with your hands. The colors are a nice, soft hue. When I first picked one of these up, I couldn't believe how light they were. They have held up well to all types of use to include microwave, refrigerator, cereal, and repeated dishwasher use to include high temp wash and sanitizing rinse.

These bowls are just the right size for me. I use them all the time and have had no problem using them into the dishwasher or microwave. I would not say they stack compactly, but it isn't awkward either. They are made of decent material and are a good value compared to other options I looked into.

I make lots of homemade soups, 5 gallons at a time. We then freeze them in 2C containers and microwave them at our leisure. This is our primary use for these. Our past bowls were handled ceramics. They got very hot in the microwave and although they were "microwave safe" most of them cracked on us - just thawing and heating soup. These comments are based on this use.Pros:* Don't heat up in the microwave, so unless your food gets hot enough to melt these, they will be great.* Because of the above, thick soups do not burn to the sides of the bowl while microwaving making cleanup SUPER easy.* They are super light.* They are great heat insulators, I can hold a bowl of soup that is too hot to eat. They get a little warm right where the soup is, but they have a little ridge around the bottom so when the soup is very hot, I can hold the bowl by the ridge and the rim. By the time it is edible, the entire bowl is cool to the touch.* They seem pretty strong.* Inexpensive - always a plus.* Good enough that I already bought 8 more ;-)Cons:*They look like cheap plastic. Not really a con since you can see what they look like on the picture, but I would love to find some nicely designed bowls made out of this material.

Love these bowls! Lovely pastel colors,don't feel greasy after washing,and better for environment.Now in process of tossing all plastics and switching to wheat straw items.These look nice enough to use all the time,not just for picnics,etc.

These bowls are pretty versatile. They are large enough to hold most things a person would eat. They are also pretty easy to clean since there is some sort of smooth coating on the inside. If you put something hot in the bowl it insulates it decently so you won’t completely burn your hands when trying to move it. It also is microwave safe which is really nice. Also the bowl is made of a sturdy plastic and it is hard for my to see how someone could break it accidentally. I also love the nice pastel colors.Overall a great product, especially considering the price.

I find it unusual that a simple item would give me such pleasure. Maybe it's the shape, the pretty colors, the high strength and unbreakability combined with the very light weight, the expected longevity of the item, the convenience of taking one along when traveling, or the fact that they are fairly eco-friendly, unlike regular plastic. Or all of the above? In any case, I can recommend them.
