With the bamboo steam cooker you can cook rice, dumplings and other delicacies in the traditional way and serve them directly. SPECIALITIES Authentic Asian PREPARATIONS The chic bamboo steam pot has two levels and a lid. With a size of 27,5x27,5x9cm it is suitable for three to four persons. Prepare in it glue rice, jasmine rice, basmati rice, mochi rice or other white (peeled) rice varieties. Use it for dim sum (filled dumplings and other Chinese snacks), couscous, meat, fish or vegetables. In contrast to cooking, steam cooking preserves the ents and the typical taste of the food. HOW does nature work DAMPFGARER? Both floors can be filled as required. If you cook rice and vegetables / meat at the same time, the grains absorb the special aroma of the underlying food through the rising water vapour. You should prepare the rice accordingly, i.e. wash it, soak it with a little salt and double the a of water for two hours in a saucepan and then precook it for 5 minutes. The rice must then be steamed for 20-30 minutes. Place a cotton cloth on the steam insert, fill it and close the lid. Place the steam basket in approx. 2cm deep water in a slightly larger pot / wok and turn the stove fully on. If the water level decreases, refill accordingly. Without pre-cooking, the necessary soaking time is extended; with shorter soaking times, the cooking time is extended (also depending on the rice variety). For a great wow effect, you can serve the cooking specialties directly in the bamboo steamer. Then rinse the floors with hot water and a little detergent, dab off with a kitchen towel and leave to dry in a shady place.
