Tresound For 1994-2001 Dodge Ram 1500/2500/ 3500 Third 3rd LED Brake Light Cargo Lamp High Mount Brake Light Replacement (Black+ Smoke Lens)

I installed this over the weekend on my 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel. Based on concerns over water seal, I also bought some 1/2" Butyl tape (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BPMW7485?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and used that in place of the rubber gasket that ships with this product. I have no doubt the seal will be better with this. I also took the step of using Alfaobd to program the truck computer to tell is that I have an LED light installed there. With the resistor that coms on the product, that may not have been necessary, but now I know I won't get a false faulty brake light warning. The cargo lights are very bright, and the stop light it bright enough. The fit on the 2016 was perfect and no gap at the top. I did have to break off the alignment tabs as the instructions state. I also chose to use the factory screws in place of the longer screws that came with the light, but I used the screw gaskets that came with. Overall, seems like a good product for the price!

2014 RAM 1500.The alignment tabs did not line up, so I snipped them off with side cutters. OEM did not have them and fitment seemed secure enough.As others said the provided gasket is concerning. I will be adding silicone gasket to be sure.Great value for the style just be prepared to add more to the gasket.

Super easy to install, 2 screws and a gasket. Plug and play no issues or problems. Took maybe 5 minutes to install. The price was to good to pass up! It's a very bright light. Definently happy with this purchase and looks amazing on my truck!

I love the look of this tinted 3rd brake light replacement. The previous owner had (quite obviously) taken the original off at some point as the old light was practically glued on with Silicone. After a couple hours of working with Elbow Grease, I got it clean enough to put the new one in without worry of leaks.The included gasket fits perfectly and has the appropriate "sticky" to seal well between the light and the cab. However, these lights are notorious for leaking despite gaskets, so i used additional clear silicone sealant.While off, this third brake light blends perfectly into the cab and fit snugly into the space with appropriate cab lines. You don't even notice it's there! The brake light itself is the only disappointment in how dim it actually comes out to be. I can tell it is on, when the brakes are applied, however it's not enough to even put a red glow on the bed cover at night. The white bed lights on the other hand are exceedingly bright.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now, the reason I felt the urge to post this review is mostly for this warning: Caution, this LED 3rd Brake Light will (eventually and for MOST - not necessarily all!!) cause key fob interference. I installed this light earlier this month shortly after getting it, and my key fob is now having detection issues. I've done the research and this is a known issue with my model year Dodge and Jeeps. Depending on what brand LED and where you replaced the light it may or may not affect your vehicle. The third brake light, upgraded to LED (original had to be halogen), your key fob will eventually (time-scale has been varied) eventually get the "key fob not detected" when you try to start your vehicle. So far the only known way to fix that is to go back to halogen. I'm going to do a bit of experimenting with RFID blockers and such and see if there's any way to keep this great looking light (not to mention I don't want to have to remove the silicone sealant I used).

Great light and it’s bright. Just it has one con I installed it and washed my truck and I noticed water kinda went inside so if you want it to last longer you might want to put silicone in the gap it has in the back so water doesn’t go inside other than that cool light

2011 Ram Mega Cab. Had to do a bit of manipulation to get it to fit square. This may have been partially due to the heavy duty gasket I used. The light itself is really nice. Good quality, and very bright, which is what I was looking for. The American flag on the brake light is pretty cool also. 🇺🇸

The light will work .you need to make sure the gasket is installed perfick on the light or it may leak . You need to use sealant on the top edge of the light to insure no leaks . the light needs to be rework to fit the back the cab better

LED lights are much brighter then my stock light I had on there works perfect thanks
