Wonderful sound, wonderful product!

I know some of the stuff they sell here is cheaper. Don't send Chinese speakers back to AMAZON. They don't like it much, and we all pay more money because of it.A quick story. They can make a lot of sound for your Bossa Nova parties. They are just incredible for when you and your lover want to listen to a romantic Frank Sinatra.Yes, they will play Led Zeppelin better for your kids than you heard it when you were a kid.I bought all the cheap foreign nonsense. I use a DAW quite a bit. These speakers sound really good, but the auto sleep feature is really annoying. If I walk away for 15 minutes, I either have to find the power button in the recess in the back of the speaker or press play and wait 5-10 seconds before the speakers sound. I know this sounds minor, but, over time, it has affected my satisfaction with the speakers. You can turn off this setting, but, as mentioned, the power button is inconveniently placed in the back of the speaker and not easily accessible. These would have been 5 stars if there was a simple on off button in the front that kept the existing settings when turned off and the sound began immediately with the power on.

These are great speakers, just one annoying thing you have to overcome, the sleep mode!It goes to sleep after a short time when no sound is playing so after a quick search I found the fix for it.*Sleep Mode Disable & Re-Enable:To Disable Standby Mode, use the following procedure:1. Set POWER switch to the OFF position.2. Connect headphones to the HEADPHONE output on the MASTER MONITOR.3. Set the VOLUME control to the minimum (full counter-clockwise) setting.4. Set the POWER switch to the ON position. Within a period of 15 secondsComplete the following steps:a) Disconnect the headphones.b) Reconnect the headphones.c) Disconnect headphones again.d) Reconnect headphones again.NOTE: This procedure must be completed within 15 seconds after performing Step 4.The POWER LED will flash rapidly 5 times to indicate the process is complete.​To re-enable Standby Mode, use the following procedure:1. Set POWER switch to the OFF position.2. Disconnect headphones to the HEADPHONE output on the MASTER MONITOR.3. Set the VOLUME control to the minimum (full counter-clockwise) setting.4. Set the POWER switch to the ON position. Within a period of 15 secondsComplete the following steps:a) Connect the headphones.b) Disconnect the headphonesc) Connect the headphones.d) Disconnect the headphonesNOTE: This procedure must be completed within 15 seconds after performing Step 4.The POWER LED will flash slowly 2 times to indicate the process is complete.5. Increase the setting of the VOLUME control (rotate clockwise).6. Standby Mode will now be active, after 19 minutes with no signal present; the 104 Reference Monitors will enter Standby Mode.​

My son mostly uses them for gaming, they are great quality and sound for the price. They are Bluetooth so you can also connect them to your tv for movies or phone for music. He loves them!
