Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Kidney Care Chicken & Vegetable Stew Wet Cat Food, Veterinary Diet, 2.9 oz. Cans, 24-Pack

My cats were diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease and I needed a special food for them. They're both picky in different ways. I bought both flavors of this wet food and mix them together. They both have been enjoying the food. It's pricey but not surprising for this food.My only complaint is that the variety pack only contains 2 flavors; "variety" to me means 3+. However, that was my miss on ordering the food

I was worried that the KD diet would be "good" for my three cats, but that they wouldn't like it. Luckily I was able to try a couple of cans from my vet before buying cases and they absolutely LOVED LOVED it!! So I can't tell you how happy I am that not only is this very healthy food for them, but that it is their favorite food too!! Score!! I have some of the pickiest cats I've ever had, or known - so for them to love this food is a huge accomplishment. Okay - it's not cheap - and that's the only drawback, But helping them to be healthy - or at least to slow the progress of the breakdown of their kidneys (they're all over 16 years old, sadly), is a blessing. It makes me very happy. Worth the requirement of getting your vet to approve the purchase - which is kind of weird and seem arbitrary - but what the heck. I'll go along with it to get all the benefits and pleasure my cats deserve.

I bought this for my kitty that was very sick and not eating her regular cat food. She loved it and it helped to be able to mix her medication with it. Unfortunately, we lost the fight and she passed away. I donated the remaining cats to a friend who runs a wildlife sanctuary to help feed other sick animals. My cat recently was put on this food. The kibbles are hard, so hard I didn't bother feeding to my cat. The soft food he loved.It's very expensive and doldrums by case only, my goodness 😳 it looks like goid quality soft food. The stews my cat adores. I still have the kibble. The price us greedy and outrageous

This was a very good starter package.it was expensive though which i think should be much cheaper. The pet food companies still make a great profit and do not have to charge so much!!!!!!.i liked the assortment of dry and wet cat food to sample and try on my cat.that was good.

i don’t know why they throw everything around and the cans are dent this food for my animals is expensive and the boxes they come in are dirty so in the future be more responsible with other people items that i pay for

Vet recommended for our 10 yr old boy with hypertension. My other two finicky felines also love it. A 3 cat approval rating is a high standard!

Other than having to get Vet approval (we've had some delays) for the prescription, we feed it to our older female cat.
