Fits well
The starter fits and works properly. I do not believe it is of the same quality as an OEM starter, but it is also many times cheaper. You get what you pay for!

This is a perfect-fit replacement for a Yamaha waverunner. Works as well as OEM

Rusts quickly
Bought two of these for a couple of 32 year old Yamaha VXR 650s I was rebuilding. Starters worked great after install. However, the first ski I finished was kept outside but covered for the past 4 months or so. After finishing the second ski, I found the starter on the first one had seized up from rust internally. Never even got to take it to the water. Luckily, I had a third with a working OEM starter.I’ve e cranked these things to no end and they seem to hold up well in that sense but the rust concerns me. I guess we’ll see.
