J K Pro Headset Headworn Microphone MIC-J 071S Compatible with AKG Samson Wireless Transmitter - Mini XLR 3Pin Connector

Matched with my CT7 Samson Beltpack transmitter this microphone worked exceptionally well for both speaking and singing, the sound quality was v good and with minor adjustment comfortable to wear. I'd recommend it certainly for theater productions.

I very much appreciate how it hangs on both ears so it can’t fall off, unlike the single ear loops. Excellent sound quality, and the foam covers eliminate any huffing or popping.

Tried it at church today and none of us could get it the pick up voices. Had noise popping when we tried to screw the lead into the headset but zero from the mic. Went back to the old lapel mic which has worked for about 8 years.

A lot of feedback, works ok at lower volume

Not the best for preaching. When the voice of the pastor is raised it has over modulation.

Nice mic, sounds good and feedback is not a problem. Used it for a couple months now and works well for us. Stays firmly in place. The wind screen is helpful for outside and in windy conditions. Be careful when ordering to get the proper end to fit your mobile x-mitter pac.

good sound quality, comfortable to wear--so much better than heavier mics

Bought this to replace a XDP1 headset mic I use with Samson lithium ion PA speakers. (Old headset had a short in it.) I called Samson and they could not sell me just the headset; I had to buy the transmitter too, so going this route saved me some money. Having now tried it out, I can say that this headset has proved to be a very good good replacement - plug fit perfectly and mic seems to be almost identical to the one that came with my original Samson set up, from fit on my head to sound quality. So I'm happy. I will use this quite a bit, so I'll return to update my review if I have any issues.
