Yes, the clock was supposed to look distressed but the numbers are so light it is hard to read.Dog HAIRS! The back is covered with dog hairs that have been lacquered into the back of the clock. And the dog must really be shedding! It seems mind boggling that someone would sell a product with dog hairs lacquered in the back. Let’s get real!

The wall clock looks beautiful in my dining room. It is the style I was looking for at a low price. Though it keeps time accurately, the hands are very delicate and easily bend. Once bent, they get caught on each other and straightening them out took quite a bit of work. I also wish it was larger for my design.

I dislike nothing about this product. As a matter of fact, I asked the supplier if they have it in larger sizes. I would love to purchase another one in a 24inch size. You will not be disappointed!!

I like this clock a lot. Nice size with whimsical feel of the owls. Took off a star because the background of my clock is pink! This appears white is all the photos. No where is it mentioned the background is pink. Debating on if I will return it. Bummed.

Arrived quicker than expected. Adorable design and quiet. The arms are exposed (no cover), so be mindful where you mount it to be sure a curious toddler doesn't mess with the clock arms ;-)

Arrived the day before my birthday!! Yaaay me....looks beautiful...not real wood, but it's on the wall in our master bedroom pretty as can be!!

I love this clock! I love the rose design on it and the numbers are large and easy to read for me.

Lovely clock - light weight - just slightly challenging to read at an angle when clock hands move toward flowery decorative section. If you put it on the wall where you are looking straight on at it, you will not have this issue. I give it five stars!
