Its strong adhesive holds up well in various conditions, making it perfect for repairs and sealing. I’ve used it for insulation and even in my crafts. It’s easy to work with and truly vapor resistant.

I used this to make a reflector for a bulb backlighting a modified cup holder from a 1994 Miata, and it worked great. High adhesion, reflective and I liked the small roll for the occasional hobby-type work. In case anyone's interested, the early Miata console has a bulb for backlighting the ashtray. If you swap out the ashtray for the cup holder option, the bulb is blocked. I notched out the small section of cup holder blocking the bulb, and to enhance lighting added this tape to the hidden part underneath. (I also added a green sleeve to the white bulb.)

I have a classic car with the only flaw being the chrome on the inside of the door was beginning to peel. The chrome film that was peeling had shape edges and I had cut my fingers a couple of times. This chrome tape matched the chrome coating. I was able to apply this tape so the transition from the original and this is hard to detect.A much nicer product than I expected.

While this tape may be a formidable substitute for 3M 3311 don't be fooled... it has no markings as typically found on the roll core, wrapper or transfer paper and according to 3M it is NOT a 3M product as advertised unless it is specifically marked with the 3M logo on the roll core!

I used this for grounding on a couple of electric guitars. Yes, copper shielding tape is more of the standard for that kind of thing, but this tape was much cheaper and got the job done.In one case, the switch, volume and tone pots, and the output jack were all mounted on the pickguard with no shielding, leading to some small but noticeable hum. I made a pseudo control plate on the bottom of pickguard with this tape, and it works great.The other case was where a bridge was grounded via a small wire touching the bridge posts and the control plate, and using the vibrato could cause it to come ungrounded. Running some of this tape from the post to the control plate, and letting the wire sit on top of the tape, provided the extra protection needed.Nice stuff and highly recommended!

Not 3M Tape - The scourge of Amazon, bait and switch. Its actually TapeCase 3311, Not 3M Scotch "BRAND". Mine arrived in a white and clear plastic bag, the tape was on an unmarked paper roll. The bag was marked TapeCase 3311 Vendor Part #1-5-3311 B0007yeott0.

Used this to protect Stanley logo while engraving with my laser. It worked. I did layer a piece of painters tape underneath so it doesn’t pull off the Stanley logo. Works great for what I needed. Thanks
