They work better that the factory blades and mulch well. No need to rake and bag fall leaves with these blades set at correct level.

I have always mowed lawn, and side discharge, with standard high-lift blades. This is my first pair of mulching blades. I love them and wish I had tried them decades ago. They give a nice cut to the lawn and chop the blades of grass into smaller pieces. So, they blend in with the lawn. I'm a convert for mulching blades.

This is the second set of these blades I have purchased. They seem to last at least a season and I mow twice a week! When the blades got older, later in the season, I lost a couple of the mulching tabs so I broke off the opposing tab to keep the blade balanced and prolonged the life of the spindle towers. I will keep buying these blades in the future.

The blades easily fit the star shaft.Making them easy to change.After three mowings of a 3 acre lot they both still have a good cutting edge.I will be purchasing them again!

Price is right, last a long time my soil is sandy and it eats up blade’s these last for about 3 years. Others one year! Fits my 46” cub cadet

I was very surprised how well these blades reduced the amount of leaves and debris in my yard. No need to rake or bag cuttings . Be sure to have the mower deck discharge opening covered with the correct cover for your mower.

These are much better than the blades that came with my mower. They fit great but cut even better.

just installed these on my 46" cub cadet, they seem to cut decent but leave clumps of cut grass on either side of the deck. They also make a loud mulching/grinding noise when cutting 6" thick grass. I think I am just going to sharpen the stock blades and put them back on.

I installed the blades on my new Cub Cadet XT1 with a 46 inch deck. They were a perfect fit. I just installed them for the purpose of mulching up thousands of Maple Leaves which is way faster and easier than any other method to clean up leaves.I do not have a plug for the chute installed which results in some leaves being blown out. However after two or three passes my yard looks as clean as a golf course green.The blades seem to be of good quality and heavy and offer zero vibration when in operation which means they are perfectly balanced. Shipping was also fast.

Installed these on my Cub Cadet 46-inch zero turn mower (with mulching plug) and it was a very disappointing cut. It does not lift the grass for a proper cut. I had to go over many areas twice. My old worn out blades did a better job.UPDATE: I tried sharpening the blades, but they still cut very very poorly. My wife came home after I had mowed and she said, "why does the lawn look so terrible?" So disappointed.

Had high hopes for these blades, put them on and from the first cut with then they were junk. Continuously left stripes in middle of the deck. I have taken off and my old blades sharpened up still do a better job. I would strongly not recommend these blades.

UPDATE: machine hourmeter reads fifteen hours since install, took blades off to sharpen. There is already a wingtip broken off, and you can see metal fatigue where they’ve bent the wingtips up, On all the other wingtips suggesting they will fail similarly. If it were a broken tip I’d write it up to me hitting something, but not when you can see the metal stressed like these are showing.Leave as messy a windrow as my standard cutting blades they replaced did. Cutting surface very small in comparison to other blades on the market. Very disappointed.
