Bestar Universel 65W U-Shaped Executive Desk with Pedestal and Hutch in Dark Chocolate & White Chocolate

Building this was 3/5. The instructions were not as clear as they could’ve been. And some of the screw holes were too big for the screws it came with. So we’re bought some slightly bigger ones to continue. The hutch is unattached to the desk but only held on by supper sticky black strips, so good luck getting that right on the first time. But in the end it’s still a pretty cool desk. You’ll just have to work though some obstacles. Like every other review here says.

This thing was a pain to put together… no verbiage just pictures so guessing half the time… missing holes for screws, the back hutch part is suppose to be held down by tape so not ideal with kids around.With better instructions, higher quality wood, and sturdiness this would be great but just ok as is.

Great Desk if you can actually finish building it, the assembly instructions were not helpful and there’s a lot of problem solving to be done but and it took me and 3 others 4 days to complete. I strongly recommend at least 3 people to assembly this desk but 4 would be optimal because there’s a lot of heavy and awkward pieces that require a 3rd person and a 4th would insure there’s no damage. Apart from the assembly the desk itself is a dream, excellent quality, it has a very beautiful finish. Highly recommended

Very sturdy and well constructed desk. It’s even nicer than I imagined, especially for the price! Delivery time was just over a week as it came from Quebec, Canada and was delivered on by a tractor-trailer truck. It comes in 3 boxes and on a plllet weighing 300lbs. They called the day prior to confirm delivery window. Assembly was not too difficult with two people however, the instructions are very ambiguous as it’s mostly just pictures and leaves you starting at them trying to figure out what order to do things. Be sure that you use the correct instructions as the box contains two sets - one for each left/right setup option. Other than that, I’m very happy and impressed.

First off the instructions are horrible the three boxes all are all over the place not in order not clearly marked it’s a guessing game. It’s the worst quality ikea like product with a more expensive price . I returned it asap

Amazing value for the money as it looks great and is super functional. Do not overload the cabinets as it is just typical fiber board and not Cabinetry grade like something in your kitchen. Make sure you have enough room when you're assembling also, when you're assembling the parts upside down sometimes you need to flip and move things and having enough room is crucial.

Its has minor defectives, scratches and not so easy to assemble

Not easy to assemble. Had to call in reinforcements, my dad, to finish the job. One of the boards didn’t have holes so we had to drill them ourselves.If we ever sell this house the desk will stay because if it’s moved it will fall apart.Looks good in the office though.

This is a great desk, especially for the price. I was expecting something on the low end due to the price - but I was wrong, very wrong. It's also pretty big so make sure to measure.Very sturdy and heavy desk parts that make it feel solid. Seems like it is made, or atleast some of the parts, in Canada. It was well packaged (all padded cardboard, no foam - which is great)The instructions were very clear, simple and well written. I was able to put it together alone (minus placing the hutch) in about 3.5 hours.Highly recommended, you just can't find this size and quality of desk anywhere for the price (sub $600).

I bought this item spending quite a bit of money on it. When I received the product there was surface scratches on the wooded parts and two big black stains down the white tops. I was not impressed with the condition of the product and wrote the company asking for a partial refund as I had to bring someone in to fix these problems. It has been a week now and I still have yet to hear from the company. The amount that was paid definitely did not reflect the quality of the product I received. Very disappointing

good desk but little difficult to assemble as diagrams are quiet complicated and difficult to understand, there is no solid system to attach hutch, it totally relies on self balance and support from twin side adhesive tape, which is dangerous according to me , apart from above issues its good purchase
