We have hard water. I put one of these in only one of the toilets just to see how well this product works. The Lysol stick on toilet bowl cleaner smells real good when you first put one in the bowl. They make a very cute little flower shape...but don't be fooled. The scent definitely dissipates the more times you flush (obvious) and they keep the bowl clean pretty much JUST below where you have placed the little stick on gel flower. The rest of the bowl STILL gets a ring! Guess you could use the entire box and put the flowers all the way around........ Think I will use what I have left then decide if it's worth it to buy more.
