Libbey Gibraltar Rocks Glasses Set of 12, 12-Ounce, Iconic Heavy Base Bar Glassware, Dishwasher Safe Whiskey Drinking Glass Set for Everyday Use

I purchased 12 of these glasses 12 years ago this month. Believe it or not, I still have and use all of them. My son was 5 when I bought them, so it’s amazing that none of them have ever had a so much as a chip in the glass. They are heavy, well made glasses. I also bought a dozen of the matching goblets at the same time and still have every one of them. If I could keep using them forever I would, but the glasses have become permanently etched from washing in the dishwasher for so many years. I’ve tried everything to fix the problem to no avail. So, sadly, I am shopping for new glasses and hoping the next set will last as long.

I've always been a fan of Libby glassware. If you have teenagers like I do, then you know they can be hard on dishes, but who wants to drink from plastic glasses all the time? I was tired of all the random glassware in my cabinets & ordered my first set of Libby glasses. These are the second type I've tried, they are larger and heavier and definitely restaurant quality! I love all their glassware, but these are especially well made and a nice hefty glass for iced tea or whatever you want. Love them!

Wanted these for the capacity, and they met expectations in that regard... but they were just far, far too heavy. Be certain that you want a heavy glass before purchasing.

Just recvd my package 10 mins ago. Opened to get into dishwasher. 1 broken. Overl huge and heavy glasses.UPDATE: I reached out to Libbey direct. Within few days they had made a replacement. Best customer service Libbey!

I first purchased a set of Libbey glasses in 2013 from Amazon. We still have half of the original set. I appreciate the quality construction. We use them for ice tea and water and they are always on the table for daily family meals. They are a good value and complement our dinnerware. I like that they are dishwasher safe. They arrived in perfect condition.
