OtterBox Defender Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy Note5 - Retail Packaging - Sea Crest (Whisper White/Light Teal) -

Like others have said, the color for "Seacrest" is nothing like the picture. That being said, I still give this product 5 stars. I have used Otterbox cases only for over 7 years, and they have always protected my phones 100%. This Defender case for the Note 5 is no different. If you are looking for a durable phone case that will protect your phone from scratches, breaks, chips, broken screens, etc., then this is the case for you. This particular case I bought for my husband's phone. He works in the waste industry and so his phone is subjected to different elements, being dropped, bumping around in a big truck, etc. every day. This case protects his phone completely.

This is my second otterbox that dropped the ball on expectations. First was my s7 edge that ended up getting a unicorn beetle case, the otterbox would not allow wireless charging and the built in screen protector blocked access to the edge menu.two years later I get this case for my wife's note 5 and low and behold, no wireless charging. Also she had issues with the screen protector blocking touches.Ended up getting another unicorn beetle case which guess what... allowed wireless charging!Both instances of wireless charging not working were on RETAIL Samsung genuine chargers too. Its a shame otterbox has let me down, my first case from them around 2010 was phenomenal. I highly doubt we will purchase otterbox again -even at amazon prices

As a craftsmaker and body artist its really easy to damage and straight out break your phone, especially if it lives in the sun or our back pocket. Not only is the otterbox defender sleek and beautiful in design, but it also really holds up to active everyday use and abuse. i work outside a lot and around glitter and other particulate material. the port cover keep it fresh and clean and i dont have to worry about the port cover breaking off because its not always properly in place (its usually plugged into something) and gets caught on everything. my pixel 3xl lives in my back pocket if im working or driving so theres lots of opportunity for it to crack or worse. two months in and so far so good. i like that the outer case has a great feel to it and not too much but jsut perfect amount of texture so tha you can get a really good hold on it. sure getting used to the phone having that much more space because the case is that much bigger than the phone by itself took some time getting used to but after that its totally cool. id really recommend this case to anyone who needs some serious protection. its affordable and doesnt break the bank. personally i have a history of breaking devices bad enough to where they cant be fixed and its makes that much more sense to invest in a really good case and not have to worry about replacement any time soon (lets keep our fingers crossed). enjoy everyone! thanks for listening and youre welcome.

My Otter box cracked near the top left side the first time I dropped it. :( It also does not prevent liquids getting in if someone spills something on your phone. :\ I rarely remove the shell, but it is already showing loose gaps around the corners. Don't waste your time or money! You will just be hunting for a new one again.

Got it to replace the one I had because I dropped it too many times on concrete. It broke the bottom of the case. So, I bought this new one. Well, I didn't even get it unpacked because I ended up buying the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and this case only fits the Note 5. I can't return it because I missed the deadline. Like I said, I never unpacked it. It's still brand new and never been opened. I will see if I can sell it on here.

I love the case, I drop my phone often and this case saves it every single time. I don't recommend using a tempered glass screen protector with it as it's hard to use the touch screen but you don't need it anyway because the built in screen protector does it's job well. This is the only case I will buy & I love it so much I'm going to buy another one in a different color soon. 10/10 highly recommend

After an approximately three foot fall from my bed to my carpeted floor, my case cracked and the corner of the phone underneath was damaged. All Otterbox will offer to do is replace the case (for about $8 after shipping/fees). I was getting ready to trade in my phone and now the phone has no trade in value due to the damage. They say they stand by their product but won't do anything to make it right. Especially since this is the 'drop protection' defender case.

Repeat purchase of this product. My phone gets dropped at least once a week. This case has protected my Note 5 since it was new. Just updated my case for appearance and clear protective cover. Great product

Love the case! same colour as the picture and matches description.arrival date was jan 7-jan14, but arrived jan 3rd so super happy about that!not to mention the price is amazing for a defender, which is top of the line as i used a defender for my S4 before.
