WATCHAREE'S Thai Yellow Curry Sauce | Vegan | Authentic Traditional Thai Recipe | (Thai Yellow Curry, 2 pack)

Chop a couple yellow onions and sauté with two chicken breast cutlets, add a teaspoon of cumin, teaspoon or two of fresh grated ginger, mince some garlic, and sauté with a little salt and pepper. I also like adding a couple fresh bay leaves for added flavor. Add jar of Watcharee's Thai yellow curry sauce and throw in a handful of frozen sweet corn niblets. Cook up a pot of jasmine rice and you've got a super awesome meal. Very tasty and lots of flavor, a little thin but I'm not a fan of corn starch so I use a couple shakes of dried potato flakes (cheap bag of dry mashed potato flakes LOL) Such a simple and delicious meal.

Deciding to eat healthier and need to add variety to my vegetable selection...tried this product for the first time...WOW...totally a winner. I don't know if I was supposed to, but I added organic coconut milk (just a bit) with carrots, firm tofu, and spinach, and I tell you....soooo very yummy with brown rice! Beautiful color and fragrance and just as beautiful taste! I will buy again, and try other sauces! I'm not so sure of the 10 servicings...but I'm a heavy sauce type of person (smile)

The curry sauce itself is very good and convenient. Just heat it with some veggies and any protein. Serve with flat bread or rice if you want. I like to keep a couple jars on hand for quick dinners. BUT, the jars were put in the box with no packing material. The jars broke so the entire order was full of broken glass and curry sauce. Even the outer shipping box was soaked. So, I'll never order it from Amazon again!!

WHEN I USED THIS SAUCE LAST YEAR IT: 1) HAD SOME SOUL TO IT 2) WAY TO WATERY 3) THE FLAVOR JUST ISN'T THERE ANYMORE. SOMETHING HAS RADICALLY CHANGED --- YOU DON'T TASTE THE COCONUT IN IT OR THE CURRY AND IT'S JUST TO THIN.. THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO WAY THEY USED TO MAKE IT --- JUST PLAIN DISSAPOINTED AND THE PRICE ISN'T CHEAP EITHER -- JUST SAD MY FAVORITE SAUCE NOW SUCKS UNHAPPY.

It was a lot sweeter than other Thai currys we’ve tried. In fact, we made two batches, one with Watcharees and one we got from the Asia market. Watcharees was too sweet and the One from the Asian market was very salty. We ended up mixing them together.

I bought this to match a takeout version. It was GREAT! Slight hint of spice, a bit of sweetness. Used the whole jar with 4 chicken thighs cut up and some potato and onion (Watcheree's recipe). Had it over rice. It made 2 meals and a lunch for me. It would be the perfect amount for a dinner for 2. It is pricey, but it is about the same as I would pay for 2 take out meals. I like things saucy and this was perfect. Simmered covered so I could capture more moisture in the sauce.

I thought the product was ruined due to the condition of the packaging. It arrived upside down without bubble wrap sitting in the middle of a tic tac toe cardboard spacer. I calmly called the number on the jar and the nice lady assured me the sauce was naturally a watery and not ruined from being upside down in courier route. THIS IS informally DEVINE. I WILL reorder and try different sauces as well.
