Chain is good quality and I've used them on several bikes. Always reliable and never a disappointment.

Great chain for my bike.
So far, works well on my 11 speed bike. Put 30 mile on this chain (and new cassette) yesterday. Easy to install. Easy to clean.

It's a good chain.
I've used this chain for years with no issues. I replace my chain around once a year because I put a lot of miles on it. I ordered a chain with a pin but this came with a master link. I used an existing pin to join it with a chain tool.

Shimano HG-71 excellent quality 6,7,8 speed Bike chain
Like another user mention I also received my chain, not in retail packaging, not ripped open thankfully and with no instructions, however, I know I've bought this chain in the past, and I can say with certainty that the instructions are useless, and the only way you properly size a chain is to look at a video online. I bought this to replace my KMC Z51 chain, which I have nothing against KMC and my KMC chain was fine, and not worn out, I over the last couple of years have been working on my Huffy (yeah don't laugh hopefully I'll get a Trek, Specialized or Giant one day). Now I know that department store bikes aren't always the best, nor do they always get best reviews, however, I believe in expectations, the Huffy I have is an early huffy from late 1999 to early 2000. The chain I had put on it was typical for a cheap bike, however, while I realized that this chain was more money, I had hoped this would help increase its value. Plus, I bought this previously. Sizing was easy, I didn't bother using the pin I just used a KMC II master link. The chain makes less noise and is so much quieter. I highly recommend this chain!

Great Shimano CN-HG71 bicycle chain
Cool looking bike chain with silver and gray chain links. Is super quiet on a properly adjusted drivetrain.

So far so good.
I used 3 different chains, one of them was A bell chain purchased from a local store, and they all had one thing in common, teeth jumping or skipping and to the point that bycicle riding became a daily nightmare. With this chain the issue was resolved and pedaling and shifting gears is smooth and easy. It does not come with a master link but to me this is not an issue, the chain length was perfect, I didn't have to remove any links for adjustments.
