American DJ basic control system for on and off control as well as momntary flash. Comes with relay pack, cable and controller.

Upon receiving this controller I tested the functioning of the outlets and switches. I used a simple outlet testor to insure correct polarity and grounding, then connected a corded light to each outlet systematically to test the rocker switches and the push switches. No issues were identified.This controller worked fantastic to control the lighting setup for an outdoor Birthday party. Using pre-programmed lights, and simple on/off lights, I was able to provide a decent experience. I will now incorporate this controller into a DMX setup to control non-DMX lights as necessary.I would definately recommend this product.If the plan is to install the controller in a case, I would suggest an effects case that is shallow enough to allow the insertion of your hand in order to plug in the power cords, or a case with more than 2u of space.I installed the controller in a 2u case for an amp, (Deep!), and have semi-permanently installed 1 foot power cord extensions to allow easier connection of the light cords.

I have 3 of these and they always work great in a pinch when there are very few plugs on the stage. I can plug 8 lights into this and easily turn them off and on right next to where I am standing due to the long cable which connects to the outlets. The only recommendation I would have for the manufacturer is to make the on/off switches a button instead of a loud clicking switch. It's a bit distracting when the audience hears loud clicks as I turn on lights.

The product works well but delivery sucked needed on Wednesday. Got it on Friday. You do the math.

Went from box straight to use in less than 15 mins. Great to be able to control my light show from my location and not have to go start and stop each light. Terrific relay and controller. Thank you

Overall, this works great. Definitely a better option than my previous setup of running eight extension cords up the light stand. This definitely cleans it up. Just a few notes.I have a single light stand, not a truss, and the best way I could get the outlet strip to hang at the top was to specially bend a wire hanger to keep it up, to hang it vertically, and just wire-tie the bottom around the pole for stability. Furthermore, I just acquired a set of two O-clamps, and the holes in the strip are two close to its walls for the wingnuts to be tightened.Second issue--the indicator lights in the switches get HOT when they've been on for a while. The Master light also burnt out on mine, which I'm not happy about. Not LEDs.Lastly, the black switches for patterns (if you're using this for par cans and similar fixtures) are useless without some peripheral pedal product which I can't find on any site.Not sure what alternatives there are to this if your lights don't have DMX.....definitely simplified my setup.

if you are looking to clean up lots of wires from your light stands this is what you are looking for. The product is well built and has held up great. the switches are hevy duuty and light up when being used. I have used every plug and have never had an overload all night. looks geat in mounted in the stand. wish i would have bought it a long time ago.

Really like the concept and pricing IF it worked as described but it does not due to a manufacturer defect in the SC-8 relay pack. I will attempt at replacing the relay pack through the return process - Hopefully this will not be painful!
