Chocolate Sunflower Seeds for Planting | 50 Pack of Seeds | Grow Exotic Chocolate Cherry Sunflowers | Rare Garden Seeds for Planting

My first time growing sunflowers and these darker variety are gorgeous. The only 1 that didn't get eaten by deer and rabbits. I planted a few seeds in a bucket and they grew just fine, I will grow these again next year!

I love these sunflowers 🌻see my last photo when the color really looks fabulous. I am new to gardening & had no idea what I was doing. I followed the instructions on the label & I believe watched a video. I ordered these not knowing how tall sunflowers grow. I really didn’t expect anything to happen so I put the seeds around in various pots in my yard early June; it is now July 25th. Many of them germinated very quickly. Once I saw how big this one was getting (and another one in a twin pot on other side of pool ledge about to bloom)— I started replanting the other ones from much smaller pots. I assume because these were in smaller pots they were only about 12” tall compared to the two already giant ones.The stalks are really sturdy so I’m not worried, unless we get a Hurricane! Not sure what I will do in that situation.WARNING: The only way I kept these alive through the growing process was to make sure grasshoppers didn’t eat them to shreds. I checked them a minimum of once a day- some days three times a day. At first I couldn’t understand why the tops of all the baby flowers were gone — those died. Then I discovered the culprit! Grasshoppers!! I sprayed Organic Insecticidal Soap on the grasshoppers. I also periodically spray the plants at night. The day that I replanted the survivors it rained and didn’t stop for 4 days! I think two of those may have survived.Posted pictures from Sunday July 25th and Wednesday July 28th with the new flowers about to bloom. Will repost when all blooms are open.July 30th photo updated. Got them fast and I'll be planting them soon. I hope they all come up so I can save the seeds. Love sunflowers 🌻. I'll try to update this when they come up and bloom.

Update.. NOT CHOCOLATE. ALL YELLOW! Misleading product pictureI planted them a week ago abs 4 out of 7 already outta the dirt as you can see.I can't tell how hardy they are yet but they sure sprouted fast!

I am very pleased with these seeds so far. The listing was for 50 seeds and the seller included 10-15 extra to ensure that I would have at least 50 healthy plants after germination. The seeds seem to be very good quality and I ended up with nearly 60 sprouted sunflowers 🌻 I will try to update this review with pictures of these flowers once they are blooming, but so far so good. I would definitely recommend.

These finally got big enough to flower. Very pretty but not very big, maybe the size of a tea cup (the flower) and not the color in the picture but pretty.
