yes. I fitted them to my sportster roadster xl1200r no problem though the switch is designed to fit on a dash panel. great value though if you are prepared to tie the switch on say under the tank somewhere. If purchasing from the states expect a charge for customs duty, around 10 gbp. Overall work well on my harley and relatively easy to fit. heat output is great - don't think it will ever be cold enough here in the midlands to use the max setting though.

Question 2

Ordering these grip warmers for my '12 Boulevard...  One review noted the high/low were similar; now I see a off/low/high switch that must be bought separately? Does the warmer come w/ switch or not?

they do come with a high/low/off switch already. The thing is, the wattage difference between the high and low elements aren't that different. I believe it's 24 and 36 watts on high. Heat is heat when you're cold riding. if it's too hot cycle between the off and low setting. It takes a while to cool down.

Question 3

do the wires come out the same end of the grip as the bar goes into?

Yes, it would seem so. The design runs wire inside the bar and therefor out of the grip the same end as the bar. Alternatively, one could plug the bar with the heater and run the wires out the end of the bar/grip and deal with the wiring outside of the bar ends in any way appropriate. ( brush guards to carry the wire to the electrical system via the outside of the handlebars?)

Question 4

Does each cartridge draw 36 (3A/12V) or do both catridges conteded in parallel draw 36watts? (high setting)

I have 17 lights on my Harley, half are LED or small bulbs, and two blue led strips under the tanks, a gps, plus the bar heaters. She would 'm burn if each one were 36 watts, I'm sure. It takes 3-6 miles on a cool day b4 they give any heat, with so much metal to warm.
