Good looking cheap lift kit
This is a good and cheap option for lifting the rear of your Silverado. In fact it is the most common way to lift the rear of these trucks. Even when you look at the really expensive lift kits, they still use blocks for the rear. I paired this set with a 2" front leveling kit from Rough Country. I wanted to maintain the factory stance(rake), just make it a bit taller. The truck looks great, and from what I can tell, there is no real problems with quality on either lift kit.Installation is easy for a professional. I am an auto tech for a living so it took me probably 30 or 40 minutes to do the back, while on a lift. If you're doing it at home on the ground, it may take awhile. And if you're not comfortable with this kind of work, or don't have the proper tools, you should take it to a shop. You will need jacks and jackstands, a long 1/2' ratchet/breaker bar, or an impact, and a torque wrench, as well as some other basic tools. The torque spec on the U-bolt nuts is 59 ft/lbs on the first pass, then an additional 130 degrees. Then it is recommended to re-check torque a few hundred miles later. They should be tightened evenly in a criss cross pattern. So yes this is a relatively easy install for some people, with all the right tools. But the rear end is heavy and needs to be supported properly, as well as moved and tweaked around a bit to get it lined back up. So just make sure you think you can finish this job, before you start it.I didn't have to make any other modifications to anything when I installed the lift, except for the parking brake cable. There are 2 brackets that secure/route the cable to the frame. I had to remove the one closest to the rear end, because it was putting too much stress on the cable with the lift installed. That's it. Everything else was fine. I did replace the shocks at the same time, but only because the factory ones were worn out. They aren't special shocks for lifted applications. You can use the stock type shocks. I went with KYB because I like the ride quality they offer. They are stiff, but not jarring. It rides like a truck should. It feels very close to what the Silverados feel like when brand new.As far as how the lift kits like this affect ride quality...they don't. Using spacers like this on the front and rear does not change the ride at all. All the factory suspension is unaffected by this. The front leveling kits will slightly change control arm angles, but not enough for you to notice any sort of difference. These 2" lift kits are the most non invasive change you can make to the height of your truck. And the truck looks great afterward. The stock size tires dont look too bad after the lift. But we all know the factory size tires on Silverados are too dang small from the start. They just have to make square wheel openings. Don't get me wrong, I like it that way. It sets us apart from the Ford and Dodge fan boys, but it limits our tire size choices. So just FYI, in case you're researching tire sizes at the same time, you can fit a 275/60R20 easily with no rubbing. You can fit this size even without a lift, but it looks better with the 2" lift. This is a 33" tall tire for ease of comparison. The factory tire height on the 4x4s is 31.9". The width is basically the same. I have seen people put wider tires than this, but with just a 2" lift, the wider tires may rub occasionally, unless you use an aftermarket rim with a different offset.Me personally I like my factory rims. And I don't want a wider tire, because that will negatively affect gas mileage. Plus I just don't need a wider tire. Check out the Nitto Ridge Grapplers and the Trail Grapplers. They are the best looking and quietest all terrain type tire I've found so far.

2015 Silverado Crew 6.5” Bed
Extremely happy. Very well made with nice protective coating. Hardware seems as good if not better than OEM.Installed on 2015 Chevy Silverado crew cab with 6.5” bed. Had previously installing their 2” leveling blocks in front and after this rear install have an inch of positive rake, which I wanted so the rear wouldn’t sit below the front with a trailer attached.Install was straightforward and took an hour per side with only a socket wrench, jack and jack stand. Make sure shorter side points forward. Also, ensure both nipples are seated completely so that block sits flush on top and bottom with no gap. To accomplish this I had to rotate and hold the front of block up so both top and bottom nipples were just touching their hole then slowly lower truck down and allow block to rotate into correct position. Otherwise, the top nipple wouldn’t seat in its hole and there was a visible gap between the block and springs. The first picture is of OEM block against this one. Gives about a 1.75” lift above factory, which was ideal for my application.Highly recommend!

Great kit!
Please note I've used Motofab products on other vehicles and havent had a problem. I ordered this kit to level out the rear of my truck thinking all I need was 2" rear block due to having a 3" rear block already. The 2" kit is actually a 3" block. It's not specified by MotoFab but it's a 2" lift over the stock 1" rear block the 07-18 trucks come with. Totalling a 3" block. May be my mistake or missed it in the description. Other than that. It's a great quality kit.

Simple Straitforward
Everything fit perfectly, and installation was strait forward and easy. Came with new longer U-Bolts, nuts, and washers. Coupled these with a 2.5 inch front kit and it looks good. The 2 inch kit does not give you 2 inches of lift though I don't believe. If you set the Motofab 2 inch blocks next to your OEM blocks, they are about 1.25 or 1.5 inches taller. But this works perfect with a 2.5 inch front level kit.
