Sealproof Pool Hose Adapter, 30 Configurations, Compatible with Most Pumps, Skimmers, and Filters, White

This adapter was just what i needed to connect the hose from my intex pool filter to the larger connector on the Intex sand filter. I had tried buying another adapter but it was made o thin plastic that i could bend with my fingers. This one is solid hard plastic that won't bend or squish when clamping a hose to it. It came with a 2" female nut that screwed tightly onto the intex sand pump. To cut to size i used a hack saw and then sanded flat on a disk sander and finished with 320 grit sandpaper. i will include photo so you can see how it can be used.

This product was recommended as an adapter for draining Intex pools. This adapter didn't fit ANY of the threaded openings on the pool we have. And, most frustratingly, it does not fit standard garden hoses. I was flabbergasted. You would think that something described as "universal" would fit hoses that are sold at every hardware store across the country. Nope. Money out the window.

I bought a solar pool heater on Amazon and was disappointed to find out not only did it only come with one short hose, but the heater connectors were all smaller than standard pool hoses. I tried for hours to finagle it every which way before conceding defeat and turning to Amazon for adaptors. I bought this two pack and had the solar heater running within 10 mins!!! I didn't even bother cutting the adapters, just added the o rings, threaded the hoses, added the clamps, and viola! Note that for pool hoses that don't have a plastic end cap, just add a little plumbers tape to the threaded side of the adapter and then screw it into the hose, then clamp.

Well, I'm not buying for intended use. I wish it had come in 2 halves, but that may just be a reflection of its intended use that it doesn't.Our HVAC unit popped a pipe loose, and the condensation line was leaking. Problem is, one side is much larger than the other, so we needed an adapter to go 1.25in inside to .75in outside diameters. The pipes are metal, and we could not find an appropriate metal piece. This works, and is waterproof. We plan on using silicone and plumbing tape to seal it.The next closest thing I xould find to this was in the UK and couldn't ship to the US, so this is preventing quite a bit of property damage. Thank you!

Having just bought a new pool heater - getting the right adapter to bridge the heater to my above ground pool's hoses was a nightmare- not only did this solve my problem -but it works AMAZINGLY!!!took only a couple minutes to trim down to the size diameter I needed...- easy installation

Inserted into the return fitting to attach a garden hose to cycle a pipe leak sealer through the system.

With all of the options, this has you would think one would fit a hose.

didn’t really work as an adapter, wasn’t water-tight and one just broke off when i tried connecting the hoses.
