I do use a flat filter on the bottom of the coffee basket and also at the top of the lid. This leaves no sediment in the coffee and makes emptying it much cleaner. Great coffee maker the coffee was definitely worth it. And very delicious 🤤

This is a great coffee pot. Some other reviews had said that it was noisy. I do not feel that way. The only time it was loud was when you use a filter for percolators. Also there were coffee grounds too. So do not use filters because you don’t need to. The basket works just fine alone. It’s also way hotter than drip coffee makers. So I give this 5 thumbs up. Very happy with purchase.

This percolator brews a tasty cup of coffee. My old drip coffee maker was on its last legs and I recalled how my parents used to use a percolator coffee pot so ordered this one to try. I taste tested regular coffee using the drip coffee maker and this percolator and the perked coffee won hands down! Hotter coffee and no bitterness! A delightful addition to my kitchen in size and looks, as well. Highly recommend. (Don't use paper filters that strain out taste/allows for bitter taste. To lessen chance for grounds in water, add grounds to metal filter over your sink and shake the filter before adding it to coffee pot.) On/off switch. Blue light tells you when coffee is ready to be served.

Even though I don’t know this brand, I thought I would give it a try. Bad mistake! The pot doesn’t perk the coffee enough, so even though I have dark roast, the coffee is weak. I have added more coffee grounds than normal, but it is weak. I don’t think the pot perks long enough or strong enough. I wouldn’t recommend this pot unless you like weak coffee.

I personally do not drink coffee, but I purchased this for visiting guests. I’ve not had one complaint on my coffee! Everyone talks about how hot the coffee is and they love it. Apparently, the Kerig isn’t hot enough! Super great item at a great price.

It's stainless steel so I wasn't expecting it to stain so quickly. The lid is really hard to remove. I've had it for about 9 months and it's still working. It is easy to clean & set up. Overall, ok for the price.
