This is a nicely finished, sturdy box, in which the cover fits well and the screws go in easily. There's not a lot more you can ask from a project box. The plastic is decently heavy. I used this to mount a 4" diameter arcade game style push-button for a candy dispensing machine I built for Halloween. It stands up to kids pounding on it.

Somewhat pricey, but well made. I usually spray paint these white for my projects, but it would be nice if they were already white.

I saw a guy on YouTube build a model-rocket launcher, and thought I'd try. I'd never done it before, and was looking at aluminum boxes, until I found these. Easy to work with, durable, seems pretty dust and water-proof, though, after all the holes I put in it, I'd be surprised if it was waterproof anymore. First lunches were last weekend, and it all went flawlessly. Mostly. I would recommend to a friend. I also have a public shopping list for all components except wire and connectors.

Long story short, needed an enclosure for an audio amplifier I designed to use with my computer. I designed the PCB to fit in the enclosure. The PCB screw holes also lined up with the outer most screw holes of the enclosure. Furthermore, I found a heatsink that fits PERFECTLY in the side slot. It was all meant to be! Highly recommend.

Needed a sealed box for a dual transformer power supply. This one fit the dimensions needed with a bit to spare. I also needed to cut openings for the in and out cord strain reliefs. This box was very easy to cut and breakout the required openings. The box has brass thread inserts for the screws that make repeated assembly and disassembly a breeze with no worry of thread degradation or loss of seal. I am very happy with this purchase.

I used this to make a display holder and control panel for my girlfriend's ebike. This controls the headlights and tail lights and it also holds the headlights.

Includes a gasket rope to place in a groove around the opening—should be watertight (although for many uses you are going to have to drill a hole for wiring running in and out). Four corner screws fit into high quality threaded brass taps—but would be cumbersome when you needed to access the contents to always remove 4 screws. I wanted an ABS box that would not interfere with Wi-Fi or other RF signals—this box was great for holding a wireless receiver outdoors for a gate opener and preserving the broadcast range of the remote. Not sure what to say about “temperature control” for this item (?).

An well finished product that fits together well. Comes with what look likes stainless steel screws to secure the lid. My only gripe is that the length of gasket material could be a little longer.
