Amazon Basics 3-Color Temperature Level and 3-Section Dimming LED Cabinet Light, Linkable, Direct Wire, White Finish, 32-Inch

One of the many things we got from Amazon when building our house. These have been one of the things we’ve loved. I love that you can set the temperature since we often use these at early morning and night when the rest of our lights are out. They do dim but reset brightness after being switched on/off at the receptacle (we don’t dim them anyway). They also can daisy chain. We just use Rolex directly to each one, but that’s an option if you only have one wire.Overall super happy with these. If we build again, I’ll very likely reuse these same lights.

Great product. Short connector cables due to compactness. Easy to overcome with patience. Awkward installation undercounter. Watched a number of general install videos to address this too. Had to devise a way to lay on counter to finish up. Doable for someone motivated..

This is a nice 24" light with adjustable color/brightness. The problem is with the installation instructions. They send a connector to place it in a series of lights, and a conduit clamp for hard wiring. They need to include a 3 prong plug adaptor to make installation so much easier. I am very handy and it took me an hour to do a 15 minute install.

This product exceeded my expectations! Very well done! I bought four of them to replace dilapidated fluorescent tube lights and I am impressed at how simple and clean they are. I only had a problem installing one of them because there was a component installed right close to where the wire needed to enter and it was difficult to get the wire in and around that component - otherwise 5 stars!

Firstly, the light itself functions perfectly. The 3 color temperature settings are great and the touch dimmer works like it should. As far as being a light goes it would have been 5 stars, but the dimmer only having 100%-50%-off seems useless and really should have at least 1 more interval to choose from. The biggest problem is the actual design.I bought the 32 inch model which does not have an opening anywhere near the center (where the existing wires I needed came out of the wall) so I had to drill through the back to be able to install where I wanted, I will say the pictures showed me this in advance and I was already prepared to do so. The access panel to do all the wiring also hinges in the worst location, the panel opens at the back of the unit and hinges in the center falling towards you when the light is hung up. Since the light practically needs to be hung in place before finishing the electrical connections that means it is completely in the way and blocking your view while working. Lastly, the other reviews stating the wire length for the location of the electrical connections being too short are entirely justified. There is no play inside the unit so unless you have an absurd length of wire coming from the wall or are doing fresh install and cutting to desired length, you WILL need to add more wiring. In my case the existing wires came out of the wall about 3 inches and were still about 6 inches too short to reach the wire connectors from the center of the unit.Overall, the light is great once it's installed and was a killer price. But it is NOT friendly for a simple DIYer, so if you don't feel particularly handy then go ahead and buy a different brand. If you are comfortable with breaking out extra tools and/or modifying the product to suit your needs then this is a great value, just expect to work harder than "installing a light" should take.

I have installed under cabinet lights before, so I expected some level of difficulty with tight spaces. The push-in wire nuts work fine as long as you tightly twist the bare wires ( if using stranded wire) and properly strip off the insulation to about 3/8”. I only had to hardwire one light and used the factory supplied jumpers to daisy chain the other five lights. The three color setting allow you to choose soft white (2700K) warm white (3000K) or day light (5000K). The lights can be dimmed to half brilliance with a touch button, but the lights don’t retain that setting and return to full brilliance at the next turn on. They lights work great and we wondered how the prior homeowners didn’t install under cabinet lights years ago.

I was looking for low profile lights. This one fit the bill. As many note, the 12 inch light has a small connection area. Once connected though, lights are bright. I also installed a 24 inch light. The longer light has plenty of space to make connections.

The products looks nice, but installation is ridiculous:1. Wires are terminated with push connectors. Fine. However, the leads are far too short. As another reviewer said, add pig tails first (and hope you can connect to your romex later).2. No mounting holes or mounting screws.My installation required a trip to the hardware store and $25 worth of supplies that just went to waste.I can't help but think adding a flexible cord that converts romex to a plug would be far easier.
