Command 051141397108 Outdoor Forever Classic Metal, Large, Oil Rubbed Bronze, 1-Hook with Foam Strips (FC13-ORB-AWES)

I put this on my front door which faces west. In the evenings it gets direct sunlight and gets really warm. I tried multiple times, but the hanger doesn’t hold when it gets too warm.

Not a super wet area however..FINALLY a hook that can work in a shower!!

Great for outdoor wreath! It does not have a huge gap between the part on the wall and the hook, however, so if you have a large or thick wreath, and as I commented to another reviewer - Do what I do...get some green flower wire at Hobby Lobby or Michaels or any craft or probably hardware store and run it around or through the wreath wire or wood stuff on the back of the wreath, then make a loop (as big as however much you want it to drop off the command hook) then tie it off - then hang THAT (the flower wire) on the command hook. I do it every year for a wreath on my outside door on this exact command hook and it holds indefinitely. I make the loop pretty small so the wreath isn’t dropping off the hook enough to see it. Meaning, you can’t see the hook at all when looking at my door - just the wreath. I have two wreaths I use - one is 24” and one is 30” and both are thick with evergreen and some decorations. In other words, these hooks hold a large, thick wreath just fine.

Update Oct 2021 - still hanging.This 'outdoor' version of my favorite Command Forever Classic Hook has been on my front door for several months now. The front of my house faces south and gets a lot of sun. The porch overhang does not cast a shadow on this hook, so exposure is near naked. Additionally, up here in Montana the annual temperature range can be from minus 20 to over 90 in summer. Yet still, Command hangs in there.I almost always have some sort of decoration hanging from this hook. Nothing heavier than 3 pounds, but the point is, it's getting good usage.The hook is showing no signs of weakening, and I so happy with Command Brand as it lets me be creative without punching or drilling holes all over my house.If there's any significant change is this outdoor hook lasting though winter, I'll write an update. But my experience tells me this hook is up until I pull the strip for removal. :-)

Used this for our front door. The seal on the door is too thick for a wreath hanger and we live in apartments so putting a nail in the door was not an option. Our wreath is too thick to hang on the hook but we used a string and hung it from the hook and it’s been holding well and looks nice. Been on our door for about three weeks and is still holding well.

Why didn't I think of this sooner? I'm not going to get into the heat and the humidity in Florida nor am I going to get into the things that I've done to hang something on the front door. This hanger looks great on the door, which is black. The only things that I did different from the instructions is that I cleaned the spot with alcohol a few times, I held the tape thing in place for quite awhile and waited for about two plus hours before hanging the wreath. I ordered 3 of these, there was no need for me to do that but, I'll be keeping the other two!

The hook is strong and holds a front door wreath with no problem, but the opening of the hook isnt wide enough to hold he wreath. Instead, I had to purchase brown wrapped wire to run through the wreath to hang properly.

Haven't tried to remove yet but very easy to fit, sturdy, does the job holding Christmas wreath stuck to glass, no signs of falling off
