Philips Automotive Lighting 9008 / H13 CrystalVision Ultra Upgraded Bright White Headlight Bulb, 2 Pack (9008CVB2)

I’m not a headlamp enthusiast - not trying to blind anyone or have cosmic light shooting from the vehicle; but do want good headlamps to see well at night as I age... anyway - I bought these after a quick search without much thought or comparison.These are great! Left bulb was out, so once installed, I could compare to the still operating existing bulb (Sylvania H13 Silverstar was installed on both sides 21 months prior). The light hitting the garage wall from this new bulb was much whiter, and seemed crisper. I don’t think color temp should fade over time - maybe it does, but my impression was this is a much better choice than the Sylvania.On the road, these light up very pleasantly.All in, couldn’t be happier. Package says bulb life is only 300 hours. Not sure the hour rating on the Sylvania - but it lasted 21 months. Expect this will be similar. Cost of bulb not that big a deal; hassle to install in GMC Yukon is real issue.Will buy again.(Hint, replace both at same time and save hassle of a second instlll; as well as keeping light balanced).

Purchased for my 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk (both headlights and fog lights). Easy installation and these bulbs made a huge difference over the stock bulbs. They don't put out a blue light like LEDs would, but the color is a crisp, bright white -- definitely not yellow like some other reviews have mentioned. After installing the first bulb, I compared the Philips bulb to my stock bulb on the opposite site and could clearly see that the Philips bulb is a clean, pure white. The stock bulb looked yellow and dull by comparison. The attached photo shows the Philips CrystalVisions installed in my headlights and fog lights. Highly recommended!

Very nice upgrade to OEM. This is my second pair of these bulbs. I originally put them in my older Ford Expedition and they worked great. MUCH brighter and Whiter than OEM. That pair last 2 1/2 years for me and are still burning strong. Unfortunately NOT my truck. I recently put them into my new Jeep and again MUCH brighter and Whiter than OEM. Just as advertised. Vision at night is improved a lot. If these last as long as the first set I will change it to 5 stars. I haven't found anything better than these lights so far and I have tried many brands.Installation note :#1 Make sure you do NOT Touch the glass of the bulb with your hands or skin. Use gloves ( clean gloves ) and try not to touch the glass at all. Oil from your skin will kill these bulbs almost immediately#2 when taking the "old" bulbs out make sure the weather seal comes off with the old bulb. Chances are that it will adhere to the housing of the headlight. My old bulbs came out but the old weather seal stayed on the headlight housing making it impossible to turn the new bulbs into place. The weather seal is usually red in color. It took me about a half hour to figure that out so I thought I would save you the trouble.Overall very nice bulbs though.

I put these in my 2013 Jeep headlamps and noticed an improvement right away. The stock bulbs still worked fine, but to me were not bright enough. Replacing the bulbs was much cheaper than buying new LED replacement units. I might eventually get LED lamps, but for now enjoy the improved vision at night.

I've tried several HID kits that were supposed to work with Chryslers software, but didn't. They all worked for about 10 seconds until a code was thrown and they shut off. I installed code cancellation boxes and spoke with Chrysler mechanic who said it would probably only happen if i bypassed the computer. I then started looking for bulbs that resembled the xenon look. After trying several different brands, they never lasted more than 5 months. My point is i went through a great deal to find what this bulb provides. The distance illuminated was much better than the others while also providing a clean white xenon look. More expensive is def not always better!

Bought 4 of these bulbs for my Ford SuperDuty in late March, shortly after I was laid off. I promptly installed them and enjoyed the improved (from stock bulbs) white light. Due to being unemployed & the pandemic, I have been pretty much staying at home, so my truck got limited use this summer. A couple weeks ago one of the bulbs actually blew apart inside my headlight housing, AFTER ONLY 3,500 miles of use! This is unacceptable; headlight bulbs should last tens of thousands of miles, if not longer. As far as I can tell, there’s no warranty on these bulbs. I called up the manufacturer to see if anything can be done, waited on hold for 30 minutes, then gave up. The sad part is that in order to match the 3 bulbs that are already installed on my truck, I had to buy another Philips bulb, which I did do.

They were easy to install and fit perfectly in my 2016 Jeep Patriot. However, after buying multiple LED lights and multiple resistors... I finally resorted to THESE lights in hopes to have a bright white result with no flickering. Unfortunately- they are not super white, they are not super bright, but they are a tad bit better than my stock bulbs. I was really disappointed and was going to return the lights, until I saw them at night time; it was then that I decided to just keep them in...

Just installed today and they are definitely an upgrade from the stock bulbs on my '14 Wrangler. They are a bright white (no yellow at all) and light up the road much better than I anticipated. That being said, if you are looking for the same bright blue and crisp light of HIDs, it's not the same, but for the price it looks fantastic. If you want a decent upgrade and don't feel like buying a conversion kit, these bulbs are for you.

But not super white

I work as delivry man all the day so i bought them for DRL because with LED, DRL doesn't work for my vehicule. Well there is not much difference between stock and Philips CrystalVision. they are not white like LED bulb at all. Something between yellow and white. So dont expect to have WHITE lights. i bought them because of high positive feedback and for DRL reason. they work fine with day time running light, low and high beam. the first three picture are from stock DRL, Low, High, the other three are Philips CrystalVision DRl, Low, High. For my point of view i dont see much difference maybe i should try them at night time and will see more brightness. Over all they work fine, but not white at all. if you need white like white, you must buy some LED otherwise you will be surprise and should not buy because of feedback. Everyone has his own point of view. i have nissan nv200.

I purchased for my 2010 Jeep Compass, a set of the LED lights with CANBus cancel system and used those for about 1-day when I got an unusual "buzzing" noise from my fuse block area. I was told the resistance in the CANBus system or kit provided was not proper and would eventually cause major issues with my Jeep. So out they came and I used the OEM lights for about another week until these arrived.Everyone touted how white the light was but I find they are better than the OEM lights by 50% only. WHich is to say that is actually a very good overall improvement to be sure.What I most notice with these is the high-beam is a wider field of view, not further out, but wider. This is how the Jeep lights are set up. The OEM when turned to HB are actually worse than the low beam so not cool.I do like these very much, some say shorter bulb life so I can't say for sure if that is true or not, but I'll edit my review in 6-months if there are any issues at all.

those light are not good in the rain but when its dry the brightness is good but could be better
