I use this pump with a 15ft round bestway liner pool. I had it for just over a year now and this is the first year I'm using it, but so far it is definitely an upgrade compared to the little crappy filter that comes with the pool.I just bought the adapters which fit perfectly and it's running perfect as is.As of now I would definitely recommend this filter and pump

I recently purchased a pool pump and filter system with high hopes of keeping my pool crystal clear and pristine throughout the swimming season. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been quite disappointing.Upon arrival, I discovered that the unit had a broken piece, rendering it unusable. However, to their credit, the seller promptly replaced the broken piece with a whole new unit. Initially, I was impressed by their responsiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction.However, my optimism quickly faded when the replacement unit ceased to function after just three weeks of use. Despite my best efforts to troubleshoot and resolve the issue, the pump and filter simply refused to work properly. This sudden failure left me frustrated and disheartened, especially considering the time and money invested in the product.While it's true that this pump and filter system comes at a relatively affordable price point, it's clear that quality and durability were sacrificed in the pursuit of cost-effectiveness. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for," and in this case, the adage rings true. I would caution potential buyers against wasting their time and resources on this product, as it ultimately failed to deliver on its promises. Read the reviews and trust when it says the fuses go out. We even tried to repair the unit by replacing the fuse and it blew right away.Then to make it worse, the only way to get a refund was to dump the 100 pounds of sand out of the filter and pack the entire unit up and send it back to Amazon. Mind you, the orginial packaging was tossed out when the unit was set up. It was a very frustrating experience.

Pump was clearly marked for intake and backwash tubes. Easy setup. Filter is smaller than what I previously had but runs much smoother with the filter balls.This is the first time using the balls instead of sand but I haven't had any problems so far. Would definitely recommend this product

Bought mine in 2022, I swapped the balls for sand and it keeps my 18ft pool clear, I get compliments regularly still going today in 2025.

The standard 1/4hp that came with my Intex and the small sand filter (like 10 inches) just wasn't getting the job done. Hurricane Ian decimated my clean pool, filling it with dirt, leaves, and sand from all over Florida. I quickly scooped out leaves and vacuumed debris, and the next day it turned green. For over 2 weeks, 10lb of shock over a dozen vacuuming cycles, all chemicals balanced, and it still was green on the walls and bottom. Bought this and the GLASS MEDIA instead of sand, vacuumed, and within 24 hours I could see the bottom and the next day was crystal clear. Still had to vacuum dead algae one more time off the bottom, but this pump/filter along with glass media gets the job done.***UPDATE JUNE 2023*** Lowered from 5 to 3 stars. Had this for 8 months and the hose split today, draining quite a bit of my pool while I was at work. Luckily I had a really long hose I can put in it's place till the small one arrives. Went to XtremepowerUSA's site to tell them of this defect in the hose, and got an email that they are so backed up that they would get to me when they could. When they did get back to me, they told me I could buy the hose for 30 bucks plus shipping from their webpage. I asked about the warranty and they said there is no warranty outside of the individual websites return window. Thank goodness the pump and filter still working, so I guess I will keep buying 25 dollar hoses from 3rd party suppliers because there'sno way I would buy a replacement hose from the same defective supplier as the one I already had.**UPDATE AUGUST 2023** Today the hose burst again due to poor design and flooded the pump (which now will not work). Paid over 250 bucks for something that lasted right at 10 months, and they say that there is no warranty on their product. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP CRAP, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

It's better than the pump that came with the pool !!!!! And 400$ cheaper than the local pool store!!!
