When searing steaks, I sometimes have to move them around to keep the heat up for a good crust. Maybe it’s user error or just part of the learning curve with a flat top, but it was a little disappointing at first.Overall, though, this griddle has been a game-changer for our family meals. If you’re thinking about getting one, I highly recommend it — just be ready to practice a little to really master the heat zones.
