Q: Can i fit a lego star wars resistance y-wing in it?

The Lego site listing for set 75249: the Lego Star Wars Resistance Y-Wing Starfighter says it measures over 2” (7cm) high, 16” (43cm) long and 7” (19cm) wide. This case measures 5.37" (13.7cm) high, 10" (25.5cm) long x 6.1" (15.5cm) wide. Unfortunately, this case is not long or wide enough for the set. But keep it in mind if you need something smaller. I bought one for my Lego Doctor Who set and Customs, and it's excellent.

Q: Can it fit the friends cafe lego set?

No, the size of the display case(25.5*15.5*13.7 cm) is slightly smaller than the friends cafe logo set.

Q: Is the acrylic sturdy? what is the thickness?

Yes. The material is acrylic, and there are corresponding card slots and holes when assembling. Under normal installation, the whole is very strong. It's about 3mm thickness

Q: Are the black plates inside genuine Lego plates or is it an off brand or Lego knockoff?

They are most likely not Lego manufactured plates. However, Lego figurines fit on them perfectly. I have four of these cases all with Lego figures displayed in them.
