Problem Solved with iMac
My new iMac with a SuperDrive would burn mp3 discs only. The "experts" at Applecare were useless. So I sprang for Toast as a work-around and it is wonderful.

At first it worked great. After a month it won't burn anything.
Burn your disk thinking Great, wow this was easy. go to play the video and Abode Acrobat Reader DC jumped in and took over control..Now I can't even play my disk. When I first bought this Toast 19 ,it was not a cheap program. It was east to make movies, quick with good Quality. I have a Mac and when i use the videos with that the quality is excellent fairly easy to use but it takes for ever to make the disk. That is why I switched to Toast 19. Video disks are cheap right ! if they don't work on your computer, hang them in the Garden to scare the Birds. Beware to Everyone Unless your a gardener *** Better check around ! ! !

Not as good as it used to be
I transitioned from Toast 10 to Toast 19 assuming that 19 would be as easy to use as Toast 10 which I had always loved. I find 19 to be confusing, more complicated and not as efficient. Especially when it comes to ripping and burning music cds. It seems to be more geared towards video, pictures and dads. Roxio has no good tutorials on YouTube which seems odd and the help feature they have is ok, but light in depth. I'm sorry my new computer won't run my old Toast 10.

Useful features gone, new gimmicky stuff added
Are you sure this is an upgrade? Toast has been suffering feature bloat for a long time, and it keeps getting worse. For example, when you burn a data disc, you have the option to make sure the disc is compatible with Mac *and* PC. Earlier versions of Toast would remember that you had chosen that option the next time you burned a disc. But now it doesn't - you have to remember to re-select that option every time you launch the program. (And yes, I contacted Support and they said it doesn't work that way any more.) Adding a bunch of gimmicky "wow, look at my cool icons" and some new fancy-schmancy DVD menus while sacrificing truly useful functionality is a poor trade-off in my opinion. I guess they add all this stuff to convince you to keep upgrading, but I'm sorry I did.

Toast 19 Titanium, a good DVD maker
Toast 19 Titanium is the best product I have found for burning movie DVD's. It's quick and easy to use. It's only shortcoming is inability to edit text font, size, color, and style. Toast Titanium 20 has the ability to create new templates that feature this capability (as separate program or extension), but I found it kludgy, frustrating, very difficult to use, so I'm still using Toast 19 until they embed this capability directly within Toast 19. Toast 23 maybe??

Toast Titanium has always worked for me and has been very dependable.
I just use Toast Titanium to burn a Video very occasionally but Toast Titanium is the only way I know how to perform that task and it has always worked for me and it has always been dependable even though I don't know what I'm doing - almost don't know.
