I read a lot of reviews on this setup. Funny how "pro's" expect Hollywood-quality gear for less than $50. Good luck! Listen, I'm not in Hollywood. Don't want to be. This is perfect for my home studio. The setup is easy to use, lightweight, and performs very well. Would I use it to do 100 mobile shoots a year? Nope. You'd invest in some "real" duty-rated gear if you were indeed a diligent professional. If you're looking for a GREAT VALUE setup that doesn't have to endure the normal rigors of daily setup/tear-down, then is is a great product. Oh... And the chromakey green sheet: perfect! It's large enough to do what I need, and the wrinkles come out super easy. Just hang it over the stnad, spray water on the muslin, let it set for 15 minutes, and they magically fall away. Yeah, it works. Stop whining about wrinkles. Just get a spray bottle and use those fingers.

this was NOT expensive and i was not expecting something that worked so well. It is plenty big enough to do the job the cross bar is very wide (12'? ) the stands go up to the ceiling the fabric is not full width of the cross bar but it is wide enough (6') and the crossbar can be set up to be that width.. and the fabric has a loop to run the cross bar through so it won't fall. the stands are not 'heavy duty' but they are certainly strong and sturdy enough for this job. went together in a couple minutes and boom - smile shipped fast and free.. this is a no brainer

No instructions but mostly easy to figure out. The wing-nut you can unscrew and then pull up on the threaded area so that it actually goes all the way through the hole in the top bar. Came with 4 bars for the top but the screen only takes up the amount of 3 so 4th is not needed. Is a thin material so will work best against another solid color or with good lighting. I have mine in the middle of the room with other stuff behind it so does not work perfectly but is good enough with chromo key adjustments.

You get a lot in this package and it is all fairly easy to setup. The frame is very adjustable and with practice could be a one person setup; but two people will be faster and safer. The primary issue for me is that the green screen is almost sheer; light easily passes through which then diminishes any green screen special effect. I double up the sheet, hold it together with clips, and adjust backlighting for improved performance. This product is best suited for fairly close up, or seated shots.

While I'm sure this kit would be great for a photographer, I got it for an entirely different reason. I work from home, but do not have a room or location I can keep uncluttered for business video calls. I took a lot of ribbing overr my 'man cave'/lab/home office. Finally a co-worker mentioned this kind of thing to me and I bought it. I set up the frame and green screen to cover the personal side of my lab. Then I set my video background to a photo of a business environment. It works perfectly! I had to buy a set of clips and turn the green screen fabric on its side for the extra width, but no problems. I unclip the fabric and fold it up and out of the way to use my personal area. The frame is no trouble at all and not in the way.

This green screen is a super cost-effective way to get different backgrounds for your photo and video projects. I'm a blogger and YouTuber and had to have something like this available in my bag at all times and it has really come in handy. PROS - Affordable - Flexible (just the right size) - Can be used on the go - Easy to install and uninstall (2-3 minutes each) - Provides just the perfect green screen for chromakey effects in my photos and videos - Good quality materials - Handy Carrying Case CONS - Sometimes I wish the fabric itself was just a little bit wider but that is personal preference Overall this is a great beginner or intermediate photography or film tool kit staple. I use this at least 2-3 times a month.

best green screen i found for the price. i will admit its really thin. I use it for streaming video games but when i added the chroma key i noticed it wasnt very effective because of my lighting. the green screen is fine but the best use of this if you turn off all the lights around you and have a light in front of you thats pretty bright. what i did to accomodate for the thickness is simply fold the screen. there is plenty of length here to fold it and it will still hang low enough in most situations. if you are going to use it for streaming video games, buy a clamp on desk lamp too and you will be golden. if you are gonna use this movies you might want to consider another option.

Green screen was very very thin which can cause problems in post production. The stand is why I'm giving this a 1 star - came with no instructions and I had to dig to find customer service contact. Called, and got an answer quickly but discovered I'd need a Hex Key to make the screw longer so I can mount the cross bar on top. No everyone has hex keys laying around their homes/studios.shoukd he disclosed you'll need tools to set up the stands (which is ridiculous) I returned the item and bought this instead (25 more but so so worth it) Fovitec StudioPRO - 5' x 6.5' Green/Blue Double-Sided Pop-Out Muslin Backdrop AND stand was heavy duty. Very nice quality and worth the extra 25 if you're a youtuber, streamer, and/or photographer.
