I just received this ruler it came as a square as in the picture with directions, but it's wider than 1/4 inch. I made the first twirl,but had to keep the ruler to the inside edge to get an even circle, then when it's finished keep your needle down and flip the ruler around to make your second one. When I was making the second one I was trying to hold the ruler in place against the inside edge and keeping it down on the fabric. Then the ruler popped up and my needle got stuck in the plastic. I thought my machine was ruined but managed to get it out. I thought I could make it work but not worth the risk of breaking my sewingmachine... This is most likely a 1/2 inch ruler, which should be in the product description. If it were a1/4 inch I think it would work well.

I guess it’s OK, but it broke the first time I used it.

Very flimsy! Not thick enough to withstand the foot hitting it at all. Broke on the second attempt to use it. Don’t waste your money. Buy only 4mm thick or thicker.

Just bought, makes using the different templates much easier-something to stabilize it
