The ignition feels good, but it is wired wrong inside. The wire colors don’t match, which isn’t a big deal, but the key had to be in the ‘Parking’ position with the handlebars locked to start the bike. Using a multi meter, I tested all of the wiring in comparison to the factory ignition and found two wires that were reversed, I changed those positions, however, I also found continuity between two wires at every single key position other than ‘On’. I could not find this continuity at all on the factory ignition. Ultimately I had to order a factory ignition because I have the bike in pieces and did not have time to exchange any of this to potentially just get another one with wiring issues. The gas cap fits, but you have to use a lot of pressure to get it fully closed. There is no adjustment on the gas cap to compensate for this. Further, the gasket on the gas cap prevents gas from leaking from sloshing around, but when I tip the tank up as I was working on it, it leaks gas straight past the gasket. The seat lock is fine.The ignition will be thrown away, I will use the gas cap out of necessity, and I will use the seat lock just to have a matching key. Do not buy this set, their quality control is obviously barely existent.

Ignition does not start or do anything when you turn the key to any position!

The first glance it's like a dream come true, OEM but at 1/16th of the price. The gas cap may be okay but mine didn't come with any bolts. It also looked as though the package had been opened. The ignition switch is what I truly needed and to sum it all up, it did not work. The only thing that did work was if you put it in the lock position and then switched it to the parking lights. Only then was any sort of a connection seated. This was a huge waste of time. The seller should be banned. They put people through a whole lot of work for nothing. Perhaps if the seller could put out some sort of a fix, like the correct way the wires should be placed? Hopefully the seller gets this and takes some sort of action.

Well built and good looking but the ignition is wired backwards and does not work on the 2004 Katana 600. It says it does in the description but it will not work,.

So the ignition doesnt do anything when you turn the key and the gas cap doesnt vent correctly so the bike now dies under hard riding unless you ride with the cap open. Typical Chinese junk. I ended up only getting to use the new rear seat latch which is what i really needed but now have to have 2 keys at all times.

product is on the cheaper side. after insulation the using the key moderately caused the ignition to break. Pins on the harness are not in the right place or the swiss is backwards, either way the ignition does not give power to the bike.

The switch isn’t wired correctly “no resistance for spark”! Wouldn’t waste the money, go with OEM if you can find one! Caused me to fry a CDI box!!!!😡🤬🤬😡

This is my second attempt and still no dice. Product fits but not compatible with ignition. And no way to contact seller.
