The Dr. Fish Fishing Lure Assortment was a great set of lures to play around with while our family is learning how to fish. While on our annual camping trip by the sea, we went trolling with these lures and were successful in catching several barracuda and calico bass. The lures were apparently appealing to the fish, sunk down deep enough in the water to simulate a bait fish, and were sturdy enough to withstand the bites of tough fish like the barracudas. The hooks stayed on securely and don’t seem to show any signs of rust after a week of daily use. This set came with a set of 6 lures, so we haven’t tried out all of them, but we are definitely going to use them over the year and see which ones work best at attracting fish. Overall, for the cost, these were worth playing around with and definitely work when it comes to catching ocean fish.

Love this set. The lures are heavy (weight), heavy-duty and high quality. The hooks are very sharp and the reaction in the water is natural and enticing. Pulled in a few brackwater stripes last season with a few of these...and lost a few as well when I snagged on some barnacles and rocks. Product as described, worked well, some lures had higher quality hooks than others but all stood up in the salt water. Didnt catch anything with them yet but that was more tides and time of day, nothing to do with the product. Would recommend!

Perfect I love these! If your going for barracuda use the skinny ones

Have tested these trying to catch a bunch of 10lb Bluefish (roughly 30") and the Bluefish absolutely love biting them in Long Island Sound as they look just like the baitfish they are eating. However, the Bluefish rip the hooks right out of the lures and get away unless they manage to get hooked on multiple hooks at once. I guess the hooks need to be anchored better to the lure body for fish this aggressive/strong.

Absolutely excellent lures the only thing to watch out for is the hooks they are extremely Sharp I suggest using a boga grip and needle nose pliers

I received the product very promptly.I was more than pleased at the quality. Even more satisfied with the way they fished. This week I caught some pike, largemouth and walleye with these lures.I was pretty concerned about the hooks quality before putting the order. But it surprised me that some of them are Mustad trebles and all seems saltwater tolerant. Just as tough as those more expensive hooks, didn't bend easily. Great corrosion resistance, well for the price!Very good overall experience. Would buy it again.

Barracuda, jacks and snappers hit these. Snook and bonefish did not. Can't beat them for the price.
