Great!

These are great little clips! They’ve held my pens to notebooks and even my diary, without anything falling off. Slimmer pens, like the ballpoint attached to the rainbow notebook in my photo, can go through the clip attachment, but wider pens like the gold fountain pen in my other photo have to be attached from the outside, because they’re too wide to fit through the clip part. But, so far it hasn’t fallen off, so it seems sturdy enough. If that changes I’ll update. But so far, these are both ingenious and a great value too!

Never lose your pen again!

These are great! Why did I not know they existed? I tell everyone. You just put it on like a paper clip and stick in your pen. Your pen does need a clip peice either on the body or cap to hold it in place. I use composition notebooks all the time and this keeps my pen from getting lost. I can remove it and use it somewhere else when I'm done. My husband uses them for his planners. They are a much better value for your money than a permanent holder on a cheap notebook. They hold up well going from notebook to notebook. I've used them on different thicknesses of notebooks and have no problem.

MXRS Pen Clip

Works ok, though only slender pens fit. Otherwise it’s ok, not bad

I use most of these … I keep pens everywhere, and this is a great way to keep them handy!

They don't work well at all for pens with a rubber grip

I was really excited about these for holding a red pen, a black pen and a mechanical pencil to my planner calendar, as those are the three I use to write on the calendar; and I'm always searching for one or the other. The description says these work with all size pens, which isn't true - most sizes, yes. All - no. I have two pens in my pen jar right now that are too fat to fit. But MOST pens would fit. However, these clips DON'T work for pens that have a rubber grip for your fingers to hold - which is what all my pens (Pilot G-2) and mechanical pencils have. These pens and pencils aren't "fat" at all. But the rubber grips don't slide into these clips. Yes, you can force them in, but it is a nuisance. And when you try to take them out of the clip, they yank the clip off the planner because they just don't want to slide in and out with the rubber grip. I can buy a mechanical pencil without a grip, but the only pens I use are Pilot G-2 because they are the only ones I've found in Extra Fine, which I need in order to write small enough in my calendar squares. One lady said to Put the pen in the clip before you put the clip on the planner. But then you have to take the clip off every time you want to get the pen out of it to write. If you're going to have to do that, you can just clip the pen directly to the planner with the pen's own clip. However, by the time you use it several times a day to write in your planner, it's going to eventually chew the planner cover. That was my whole reason for wanting the clip that would go on ONCE and stay there. And even if you ARE willing to take the clip off and on every time you need to use your pen, getting a pen with a rubber grip out of these clips is STILL a PAIN even when it ISN'T attached to the planner. Way too much trouble if you use a pen with a rubber grip. I am giving them 3 stars for the pens they DO work for, but I'm removing 2 stars because a LOT of pens have rubber grips. The PaperMate ProFile pen has a rubber grip and it CAN be wedged/worked into the clip, but not easily.Last option: You can use the pen's own clip to clip the pen to this clip. The pen will swing a bit, but at least you won't be clipping and unclipping the pen from your planner (or whatever), eventually chewing it up, and it is very easy to get on and off. The pen isn't nearly as secure as it would be if it were inside the clip, however.

Why didn't I think of this!?

What a great and functional item to have! I put one on every one of my journals so I always have a pen ready. Even better for note books as you can pick up right where you leave off, opening to the exact page. The size is perfect for any type of pen. Large enough for pens with caps, and small enough not to let ones without slip through. Great job!

Perfect for passing binders with sign up sheets or rolls

Got these to put in binders for passing sign-up sheets and rolls. Much better than the long, annoying strings we had tied to pens before. It is taking some of the older folks a bit of time to get used to the change, but I like that pens don't fall off of them. Make sure you don't use pens that retract by clicking the pocket clip, like I did. Those are harder to slip on and off, just my luck.

Coolest gizmos ever

I always lost pens sticking them into a notebook. Not with these. The pen can move or swing from the pen clip. But if tucked in under the clip that baby stays out. I'm guessing they're sturdy, if I caught anybody trying to mess mine up, I guess I'd have to give a good chase...why would ya want to mess with such a little gem...would say grab two packages, but ones enough if ya keep an eye on them. I've recovered two so far. They got to keep em though, lol.
