This power supply works perfectly I used it to fix a PC where the power supply was bad and did not start up, this had much better cables than the old one that are flat and easy to install, the modular design is great. It has many different cables in it and you just use the ones you need which reduces clutter. The cables are flat and easy to route. It is reasonably quiet and inexpensive

This power supply was dead on arrival. A power outage ruined a previous power supply and some components. Luckily I had spares and a spare power supply, but seeing as how I didn't want an additional power outage to ruin the one I had left, I ordered this one as a backup replacement. However, from the get-go the power supply would not let my PC post. I swapped back with my spare PSU and that one worked perfectly, but this supposedly brand new PSU was dead right out of the box. This is not the first time cooler master has sent me a defective product, so I'd advise to at least stay away from their PSUs if possible.

My only complaints are to do with the modular cables. They are ultra stiff and difficult to route. There were not enough power cables to power my case fans but I have a collection of extra cables. A great option would be they sell this modular PSU without cables and you buy what you need à la carte. There is a useless molex at the end of each run and no molex where I needed it for fans. My case is 17 years old tho maybe this will not bother average customer with a modern case.This is replacing a 1KW Zalman that preformed like a champion for 17 years. That PSU never died but started to black screen at peak power. I hope this one will be a similar value only time will tell.

Nothing to say but good. Fit perfectly, supplies enough power for my power-hungry gpu, and quiet.
