Neat and tidy sets

Used this Orion Motor Tech 40-piece tap set once to fit a seat on a trike. Paired it with some cutting fluid and it worked great—clean threads, no issues. The metal wasn’t especially thick, so can’t speak for heavy-duty use, but for light jobs, it’s solid. Instead of going around the house looking for things to tap bolts into (tempting), I’ve shelved it for the next project—probably sometime in 10 years. One job done, 39 pieces waiting patiently.

This set will come in handy. However I did want it to straighten out the lug nuts. I couldn’t get this bar to go flush because of the centre hug sticks out on my model car. So I had to purchase a M12 1.5 die hex so I could use the sockets and wrench. But the rest of the kit will come in handy.

Not enough sizes and one has brocken. Definitely not for long term use

I needed to cut some threads and tap some holes in brass which it did perfectly. The kit is very comprehensive with important guidelines and tips which do need to be followed. I haven’t used it on steel yet.
