I have recently brought the latest edition to W-KING Bluetooth speaker range, the D9. To note, I have also brought two of the previous W-KING models, the D8, which is a 50-watt max output unit. This was so I could pair the speakers. You can pair this latest D9 model with another D9, but cannot pair D8 and D9 units together. This model, the D9 is now upgraded to 60-watt max output. Both models are similar in weight, both are of a solid and sturdy build quality, which is reassuring for me. Both in black colour and the front grille design is on both models. The noticeable changes are firstly the handle, which as my pictures show is now solid plastic, instead of an adjustable fabric carrying strap. The strap would allow user to carry out and about, over their shoulder, now the user will have to hand held. It depends on how the user is going to use the Bluetooth speaker. The passive radiator/speaker is exposed at the back of the unit, which is a shame, and I would have preferred more protection, as it could get damaged. There’s an increase in battery life, reported to be now from 8000mAh rechargeable battery on the D8 unit, to now 12,000mAh rechargeable battery on the D9. The button control display is the same, with the option for sound boost for indoor and outdoor use. The D9 unit comes already charged, so its plug and play. Easy to Bluetooth and connect. Leads are also included for charging, and if user wants a wired connection instead of Bluetooth. Equally, D9 unit allows MP3 player or smartphone to charge. The D9 unit is now of a IPX6 waterproof construction, which means it is protected from powerful water jets, but does not mean you can place this unit in a swimming pool or prolonged raining. I have tested the sound against each other, and in my opinion the D8 still sounds too tinny, with not enough bass. The latest model, the D9 does have an increase in sound and power output, and a noticeable increase in that of bass, but it is by no means as much bass as I personally like, I am a bass beast. I just hope that further W-KING models in the future install better more bass responsive sub woofers. I could upload a sound video, but I find these of little use as the sound quality is dictated by the laptop speakers or smartphone speakers being used to view the video, and never get a true representation of the sound from a speaker. Would I recommend this D9 unit, the short answer yes, but would advise, do you homework first, ask yourself, what am I expecting this speaker to do, and how do I plan on using it for, and test it. For the price, its value is good, against other Bluetooth speakers, such as JBL or Bose, which obviously have a more richer, deeper bass, and overall sound.

One of the best speakers I have ever brought. Loud but not to loud clear and bass is amazing does not distort at full volume very clear sound. Price is ok bit high but I'd say worth it. Stylish design light weight portable bluetooth device. I use it in my camper van and its all I need. I have used for a couple months now and no issues.

Before buying this it was hard to find an adequate review covering all important aspects. I am familiar with music and I also like good bass, good quality sound and I am have no illusion of what I can expect. I didn't expect this to be extra loud bass however, I was very pleasantly surprised as used with the correct setting/output this is good quality sound, and adequate bass. I got it with lightening prime price so folks what do you expect for £70? I used Samsung 21 and set it on 'rock' on the phone equaliser, to compare - it is adequate for small garden good size lounge hall or house. I played a variety of music on it no serious complaints The bass is not weak or poor - for the money its worth it! Judging by some of the review, some buyers had unrealistic expectations or didn't know how to use this.

Summary: I reckon this speaker could comfortably handle a 30 person house party, whenever those are legal again. You can really feel the sound pressure / bass, which I've never experienced from a portable speaker! Outperforms the competition 2-3x its price. (If updating the firmware, which I would recommend: The speaker should be switched off before you start following the instructions. That threw me for a while! It's very straightforward after that) Indoor performance: This speaker is seriously loud - I haven't been able to test it at even close to full volume since we're still in lockdown, but I can confirm it goes extremely loud, and the bass is pretty physical. The equaliser button really does crank some bass out - the bass is audible throughout the house even if the music itself isn't. Your neighbours may be less thrilled about this. Outdoor performance: I have tested it in my garden and the bass performance in the open air is also incredibly impressive, even at lower overall volumes. I'm not sure when I'll encounter a park empty enough to really crank this to its fullest (I maybe got to 20-30% volume in my garden before thinking about the neighbours). Battery life: It's not close 40 hours for me, up to ~12 depending on how much I want to feel the bass in my bones. Given I don't expect to be using it for more than 8-12 hours at a time, this really isn't an issue. Charging is pretty quick considering the batery size, and the auto power-off after 10 mins disconnected is useful. Build Quality: It's well built / sturdy - though if you're planning to throw it in a bag, I'd jerry-rig some kind of cover / protection for the bass radiator on the rear. That's the only real weak point - the rest of the speaker seems rugged. Note: The equalizer button post-update is essentially one of the best 'bass boost' functions I've encountered - but it does muddy the sound a little bit. The speaker is still super loud & has excellent clarity when this is switched off - the bass is just less... oppressive. Treat that button as a nighclub experience, and select appropriate music accordingly!

Het is ongelooflijk wat een waar voor je geld. Laat jbl maar liggen. Dit geloof je niet. Ik heb een soundboks 2 en wilde er iets bij wat meer portable was. Ik denk dat deze echt tot 75% komt van de soundboks voor een fractie van het geld. Niet twijfelen, kopen!

Buenas, no soy de escribir reseñas pero con este altavoz no podia hacer otra cosa que escribirla. Voy a empezar dando mi opinion sobre altavoces portatiles, tengo unos cuantos entre ellos un trosmart element mega y algun otro que son bastante buenos pero, siempre he sido muy exigente con este tipo de cacharros por lo que ponia las expectativas muy altas y al llegarme a casa y probarlos iban bien y tal pero no me saciaban, me dejaban como con que necesitaba algo mas, ojo con esto no digo que fueran mal iban perfectos se escuchaban bien hablando en particular del trosmart que es el que he estado utilizando hasta ahora tenia un buen volumen y se escuchaba un sonido con cuerpo, bajos medios y altos, me iba bien incluso en exteriores se escuchaba bien pero queria mas sin tener que gastar 450€ en un jbl boombox 2 , seguro que mas de uno se siente identificado con lo que digo. Bueno a esto que me meto en amazon y tras horas buscando llegue a esta marca (W-King) me llamo la atencion la verdad ya que vi que tenian productos que tenian muy buena pinta y baratos, tambien he de decir como punto negativo de la marca que hay mas bien pocas reseñas en español incluso fuera de amazon es dificil adquirir uno de sus productos, y si te poner a buscar videos en youtube directamente no te va a salir un solo video en español, pero bueno vi las que estan en ingles que son tambien pocas y por lo que decian todos llegaban a la misma conclusion, una pasada de altavoz potencia, bajos y lo mejor de todo UN PRECIO ECONOMICO, yo en concreto lo he adquirido por 89,99€ un precio bueno. Me llego a casa y lo abri con ansia para ver como iba y, bua impresionante de verdad , siento que no me hace falta mas potencia es perfecto barato unos bajos impresionantes y un sonido brutal potencia mas que de sobra en la calle va sobrado y en casa no puedes ponerlo a tope ya no por molestar a los vecinos sino que te puede resultar hasta molesto y no exajero. La bateria espectacular. Si tuviera que poner un punto negativo seria la costruccion no me ha gustado tanto el tener un asa, lo hubiera visto mas bonito si lo hubieran cambiado por quitar ese asa y poner un enganche para una bandolera y poder colgartelo. Quitando eso en cuanto al funcionamiento esque no pudo poner nada negativo. Si estas dudando o te has sentido identificado con lo que he dicho si te doy mi opinion, ni te lo pienses compralo de una van a ser los 90€ mejores invertidos de tu vida. Espero haber ayudado a mas de uno, me hubiera gustado que antes de comprarlo hubiera una opinion como esta para ayudarme a decidirme. Un saludo.
