It's pricey for a book but it has a ton of information you can't find online. So it's a must buy if you are trying to fix a bmw at home.

Spotted a bunch of typos so far.Also, one of the fuse diagrams doesn't match with the table of fuses next to it. I immediately reached out to the publisher, but their responsiveness has been very disappointing to say the least.

Wealth of knowledge in a thorough manual. Provides complete details on all aspects of the car.Not like your father’s thin auto parts store manual. This one approaches the size of an unabridged dictionary. It’s the manual the factory would print for their technicians.

This is our 3rd Bentley manual, and the first two are (in my opinion) pretty good.But for this one, the very first two things I wanted to look up were service information about the "transformer" top and heating system diagnosis. The information about the retractable top was completely absent. I mean just not there at all. Nothing about the controls, how the system works, or (pertinently) how the retraction cords are routed and attached.For the heating system, the manual offers no real description of how the system works (from which one may often figure out where the problem might be) and said diagnosis requires the BMW scan tool. There are several possible points for failure, and for some no scan tool is needed if you know how the system works.I might have been better off just paying for BMW TIS access for a day or two and printing stuff of interest.

It has pictures, easy to follow steps and torque specs. The maintenance section has a table showing the standard maintenance intervals for spark plugs, filters, oils, etc. I've done a lot of work using this book, and I've already saved enough money to buy 5 more copies. Get yourself a good code reader to find what you need to do, and you'll never need to visit another BMW mechanic ever again, hopefully. I have one of these for my E90 as well. They're worth their weight in gold if you ask an amateur gearhead like me. The peace of mind they provide is priceless.

It's a mazing guide. You can find everything about BMW series 3, Besides that you have a lot of photos to check.

Very through book, knows more than the local BMW garage, for example 100k auto trans oil change was not known by the local BMW garage but was confirmed by BMW Germany as correct information. Bentley also have very good support services and answer questions quickly, I cannot fault this book or the publisher.

F22用がないので代用として購入しました。けっこう重いので持ち運びには不向きで，分厚いので整備用に必要ページのコピーするのにも不向きですが，F2xとF3xは近いので，DIYには十分な情報が得られます。--
