I bought these plastic paint containers because the typical paint can has a metal lid that will rust over time and contaminate the paint. It's difficult to use white trim paint that has fine flakes of rust in it.The containers are sturdy and the lids are similar to the ones found on 5 gallon plastic paint buckets. The lids contain a rubber gasket to prevent leakage and air infiltration.I highly recommend these containers, especially for paints that you intend to keep indefinitely for future use.

Theses look nothing like the 3.5 gallon bucket I ordered . The handles are very zip tie like . I will have to use them for something else unfortunately because my customer will absolutely be disappointed.
