LG G5 Case, Diztronic Full Matte TPU Series - Slim-Fit Soft-Touch Thin & Flexible Phone Case for LG G5 - Full Matte Black

Really like this case! Been using it for about a week now, and have some notes. Weighing the pros and cons, this is still what I imagine to be the best possible option for a thin, light case that looks good, functions great, and keeps scratches off the phone.PROS:- The case adds the correct amount of weight to the phone (considering the G5 is light and feels imbalanced towards the screen, which would mean it could slip out of the hand and land screen-down)- Hard plastic around the power button/fingerprint reader and the camera area are nice - helps your finger find perfect placement for the already lightning-fast fingerprint reading.- The matte finish is nice in the hand and the build is solid while somewhere between a hard plastic and soft shell. Perfect for my needs (just enough case to keeps scratches off the back, not enough for serious drops)- Thinner than I thought it would be, which is what I wanted.- Volume button covers help make those buttons MUCH more clicky. Better than the mushy feel of the uncovered buttons.- Small lip on the front keeps the screen off of the tableCONS:- The sharp cut on the USB-C port to accommodate larger cords is exactly that - sharp. The standard "put your pinky under the phone for one-handed balance" feels sharp if you rest your finger in the middle.This only applies to the back part of the cut-out, not the front.- Because of the lip on the front, the curved top of the glass feel on your ear is gone when on a call, which was really comfortable on the G5. Not so much a design flaw as there's not much one could do to get rid of this, but worth noting.

I LOVE THIS CASE. I came from a Nexus 6 and previously bought a DIztronic case for it as well. That's simply because they make great cases. The fit on this case in particular is great on the G5. It doesn't add much weight or bulk to the phone and really compliments the design. It's thick enough to protect my phone from any accidental falls, but thin enough to not make my phone a brick to hold. The case adds plenty of grip to the phone and it's very comfortable in the hand. The matte plastic also does a great job of resisting fingerprints and smudges. What I particularly love about the case is the subtle branding that Diztronic places on the side. Every other case maker isn't shy to brandish their cases with their logo. To me, that's distracting and unwanted from a phone case. The case is simple, practical, and form fitted. Great job Diztronic.

I dropped an old phone with a diztronic case on it down 3 stories off a balcony, it landed face down on the concrete driveway - not a single scratch. The phone I upgraded to had another diztronic case on it from the date I purchased it and after many drops by myself and my 3 year old it still worked perfectly. Next upgrade immediately got yet another diztronic case!! I originally purchased the case for the price (and the pink sparkles of course) but now I buy them because I KNOW THEY WORK!!! Who needs a $30, $50 bulky rubber with plastic 2 piece case when you can get a sleek phone-fitting one that does its job!!! I will forever be a customer and I check that they have my case before I make my upgrades!

This is a great little case, for the price. I stupidly left my phone on the roof of my car and drove off, and someone ran it over. I found it screen down in the road, with a tire track across the back of the case. I feared the worst. But suddlenly my bluetooth reconnected to the car, so the phone must still work! The screen was cracked in several places, but everything else worked just fine. The camera didn't break, the fingerprint sensor worked fine, the speakers were fine, I could text and make phone calls, stream via bluetooth, browse the internet. So i'm sending the phone in to get the screen replaced, but I think this case really helped to keep the rest of my phone intact.

This is my 3rd Diztronic case. These cases are nothing fancy, plain black with a very slight texture. I have tried many cases, but always go back to these because of their low profile. They add nearly no bulk to the phone while still providing a little extra protection against the accidental drop. They pop on and off without much effort but stay put once they're on.These cases do NOT have any internal padding, so if you're likely to drop your phone1 regularly or from high altitude, you may want to grab a different case. But, if you're like me, and just looking for a little extra "just in case" buffer for the occasional accidental drop, you'll love this case.

I decided to go with Diztronic's TPU series for my LG G5 after having a great experience with their product for my Galaxy S5. As before, this case fits my G5 perfectly and looks great. After having this case on my phone for quite awhile, I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants great protection for their phone while still maintaining a slim formfactor.As for the amount of protection this case provides, I have dropped my G5 multiple times from varying heights onto multiple surfaces with the phone receiving no damage. The case shows minimal damage from drops and has held up well under normal use.If you are looking for an affordable case for your G5 that will stand the test of time, look no further!

This case fit my old LG G5 perfectly. It was the only case I used for the phone up until the very day that my phone inevitably needed to be replaced. My G5 survived multiple drops thanks to this case. It's also very easy to put on and remove. I'd highly recommend to anyone still using an LG G5.
