Awesome starter rod. Still new to fishing and needed an upgrade from a very beginner rod I started with. Great build quality, feels sturdy, and has had no trouble bringing in a few 12-14 inch bass so far in the weeks I’ve had it, all with the line and baits included. If you’re looking to get into fishing/casual fisher looking for a new rod, this is a great start for the price point. Update: had a week up in north and just caught a two foot pike with this rod and the line they included. Awesome!!

My son needed a rod for a canoe trip. This rod was perfect and compact enough for his trip. Its great quality, comes with a high quality case and some little tackle for first timers.

Disappointed after the good reviews on this rod. Was due to return the item due to rocking reel seat as well as metal scratching the rod every time it was extended for use. Only used a handful of times. Rod snapped whilst attempting to lift a 3lb ish pollack onto the rocks during some LRF. Unfortunately couldn’t retrieve the fish or rod due to deep water and ended up cutting line which is not ideal for the hooked fish. I paid approx £90 for this rod. I also purchased the smaller 7-24g rod which seems far superior built with an improved reel seat “plussino bronze warrior” which I’m very happy with. Amazon return process started-just need to get the time off work to post it back...
